I met Ad online, he lived about 3 hours away from me at the time. I knew we'd be good together because we got on so well online. In my opinion online relationships CAN be better than face to face ones in the early stages simply because the physical appearance doesn't get in the way. When I finally met Ad face to face he was definately NOT the kind of guy I would normally have gone for (he has blue eyes...YUK!...LOL)...BUT...from chatting online and on the phone I knew that the person inside WAS the kind of person I wanted to be with. By the time I met Ad 'for real' I loved him already. We've been married 2 years this month and lived together for over 5 years now....it works! Oh and now....I love his blue eyes.  |

I met my husband, Silverhour here in 2000, and he was in Canada and I was in Virginia. When we started talking I just KNEW he was the one...I was much like you, NO ONE has made me feel like he does ;)It's no wonder that the second time I visited him, I chose to marry him and stay lol  |

I met my husband on the net and we became friends first. When we met in real life it was love at first sight for him (so he says) but it took me a little longer. I think people can become very good friends just by talking honestly on the net and of course, that is what a good, loving relationship is based on.  |

I have met "the one" right here on usm. He lives in the US, and I, over in Canada.. at different ends of the country.. he's over int he east of the US, and I live in western Canada. I've been talking to him for about 2 and a half years, and he was my best friend, and well, things all came together, and I realized that he is the one I love and will be with forever. :) He will be moving here this month. It sounds like there is definatly something special there with you and him. *smiles* Love can find you in the most unusual ways!  |
