I'LL NEVER BABYSIT HERE AGAIN!!   Author: 62808  Category:(Sounds) Created:(8/5/2004 3:01:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (3875 times) I have just finished 4 days babysitting at my brothers friends house. The parents went to the river for a few says so I stayed at the house and watched their boys. The boys were sweet and we had fun during the day, but when night rolled around, it was a whole different story! The first night I tucked the boys in around 10ish since they're on summer vacation. I stayed up talking to my boyfriend on the phone and watching t.v. in the family room until about 12:30 p.m. and went to bed. I was feeling lonley because I am used to sharing a room with my sister so I started to pray. When I was tired enough to fall asleep I started to drift off when I was awaken by their dog Lucy who started barking and growling. She doesn't bark a lot because she's a little old and really calm. I went out in the living room where she was and she was barking at the corner of the wall. Nothing was there so I put her outside to pee but she ran back in and started barking again at the corner. And then she started to chase something with her eyes and bark at it. I looked really close with the light on and everything, determined to find a small bug or something that was flying around but nothing. I had her come into the room with me and I shut the door. The next night I was trying to fall asleep after a few hours on my cell phone with my friend, laughing from the conversation we had. I started to drift off when I was awoken to Lucy barking at nothing... AGAIN! This time while I was trying to drag her into my room I saw a very bright flash of light in the spot she was barking at! I blinked a few times thinking I may have been over tired but it happened again in a different spot and Lucy went wild! I turned on all the lights, checked on the boys, called Lucy into their rooms and I went to sleep in the room upstairs. (chicken) lol The next night nothing happened. The night after that, which was my last night there, I was still sleeping in the upstairs room. I opened my eyes after I feel asleep for about an hour and there was a shadow figure walking back and forth in the hallway. I called out both the boys names to see who it was but the figure didn't respond to either name. I watched it very closely until I reached the light and turned it on and as soon as the light filled the hallway, the figure was gone in an instant!! I went in both rooms and the boys were both out cold. I stayed awake with the t.v. on and whining to my boyfriend the rest of the night! (I felt so bad! hehe) But I was so glad when their parents came home in the morning. I got my money, said thanx and good bye to the boys and I was out of there! At least I was payed well! :) How it changed my life: Uh... I guess I won't be sitting there over night anymore. Maybe, I'll have to think about it. hehe.
