Today- Akua Tuta   Author:  12581  Category:(Poetry) Created:(8/7/2004 12:43:00 AM) This post has been Viewed (452 times) Today, I looked for the beauty I could find, & I saw people being loving & kind, I felt the sunshine upon my sholders & noticed the sunset & how it smolders. I watched the swaying of the trees, & smelled the salt in the oceans breeze, I noticed a rose glistening with the morning dew, & watched the clounds meander across a sky of blue. I felt the caress of the wind upon my face & saw a butterfly flit with all it's grace, I watched an eagle as it soared above, & found the innocence in a childs love. I smelled the freshness of a summer rain, & saw the land with the moonlight's stain, I heard the sweetness of a bird's call, & felt the cooling mist from a waterfall. Today, I looked for the lovliness in living, & saw how the earth was so giving, Today, I looked at life to see what I could see, & for the first time, I found true beauty within me. Today.
