Well that was the question. What was Bush's answer. You didn't post that. That's not fair. twisting it like that. |

Ha, I believe Bush completly mangled his anwer and he was of course laughed at by the tribe--otherwise known as our mainstream media..I think it would be fun to throw an answer like mine out there just to see their mouths drop open.. The question as far as I can tell has absolutely no meaning..He also could have answered, "as long as they keep sending in revenues from the casino profits to states like California, we'll be satisfied with tribal sovereignty"..that would have been even funnier to see the reaction. As for Minority support, it's a joke,. Blacks voted at 90 percent for the Dems last election, it will probably be that much or more this time around also. People like Condi Rice are accused of being nothing better than a house slave on the plantation by other blacks (cartoons are even made insinuating that) because she doesn't march in lock-step. |

Ahhh, But kelly, you fail to see that Many native american tribes want to be seperate, to have a "Nation within a Nation" so to speak. There is still much racism within the United states towards native americans although many people do not realize it. |

Also, to disolve reservations and to make Native americans integrate into the united states would cause a Race to lose its heritage. There is alot more to reservations than meets the eye. Reservations are not Manditory, many people are native and are not living on reservations. And yes, I agree there are many Reservations that are struck with poverty, but there are just as many "ghettos" and "Trailer Parks" of every race that are in the same boat. |

Lady Shaman you are absolutely right. One of the biggest "wars of terror" that has been inacted has been by the United States government on the Native Americans. As for answering the question, I think it's a legit question, though not necessarily from that group. Of course that depends on their affiliation. But that's just my opinion. -DeltaRebel |
