My favoirte is of Kerry preaching about health insurance and how he's saying x amount of Americans are uninsured and it's such a HUGE deal and all...he said there was 4,300 or 43,000 americans uninsured (Got his numbers wrong...obviously) Danny and I saw that and started laughing our butts off...LOL I think they pulled that one off the air pretty quick lol |

lol...I loved the Jimmy Kimmel where they gave Bush an afro. It was so funny. But yeah, the commercials are so annoying. My brother stands in front of the tv and does impressions of them, it's pretty funny. The commercials are so corny, they're almost as bad as the John Basedow commercials (don't know if you've seen them, but they're on constantly here, I was flipping through the channels once and it was on three channels in a row...ahh) Anyhoo, my name's Amers, and I approve this message...:D |

I must not watch tv enough or at the wrong hours, I never see political ads. I agree they probably don't sway voters much in a major election like a Presidential one. However, in local elections they have a lot more influence; especially if 2 or more people are running from the same party. |

If you live in a battleground state, you'll see many, many more ads. The candidates seem to be concentrating their resources on states that were within a few thousand votes of either Bush or Gore in 2000. Since most states consistently vote Democratic or Republican, the President and Senator Kerry are funneling funds into the other twenty or so that could go either way. Stay informed so that your vote will count. |
