*~* Have Computers Made You Lazy? *~* Hey,Hey,Paula

I'm sitting here realizing that today is my sister's birthday and I didn't mail her a birthday card out yet! Add to that, my grandson's birthday is on Monday and his card is sitting here not sent and his gift is not done.

I am beginning to realize more and more how much I have become addicted to computers and the things they allow me to do, like send E-cards and gift certificates with a few keystrokes and a Visa! I can pay most of my bills online and the ones I can't seem to get mailed late!

Have we become too technically reliant and gotten away from the more personal approach of actually writing a letter or a card and MAILING it to a special someone?

Am I the only one who has experienced this?

I need to get busy and get these cards out!

Date: 8/7/2004 10:05:00 AM  From Authorid: 58334    Not as much as I used to be. Before I was a hopeless addict on most of the day. Now I'm on only a few hours a day.

Date: 8/7/2004 10:19:00 AM  From Authorid: 62739    Lazy and conveniently easy should not be confused. My PC has opened an educational avenue that I would not have had access by any other media. If you find anything besides extremely motovational excitment in your computer, you must be doing something wrong. Shoot ... Thanks to My PC and USM I now have friends all over the world. Am I lazy because I haven't flown all over the world? Quite the contrary ... My PC has made me smart ... and a smart ellic. Sorry ... With love ~Russel~
