Yestermorrow...................Hack

—my world will never be the same again—

some things can be said every day,
for nothing changes as fast as time.

—this is the last day of the beginning of my life—

Today isn't today so much as yestermorrow,
it is a mobius strip, connected and unending

that is
until cut in the middle,
then it is a flat line;
a piece of paper laying on a table
of contents.

—I am a year older today—

each day is year older than it was
this time last year,
as am I,
or yourself.

maybe God is the concept of time,
ultimately not understood
as much as the faces of beauty,
or the sense of humour
belonging to a cat.

Speak of the soul
as if you knew what you were talking about,
and when you hear me sigh
think of the wind on the sea,
or a child with skinned elbows,

it matters not.

Date: 2/21/2005 9:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 53016    Philosophical bent. I like it. I particularly like the mobius strip analogy. Totally different. My favourite part is the "sense of humour of a cat". That's really original, love it. Kat.
