You would think after all this time, I’d have learned how to rhyme, How to tell my story in its own unique way. But not today! Today it’s just a blank page, A wordless symbol of my emptiness, Of a heart that’s emotionless Because, I guess, if I knew how to feel, I would know what to say. But I’m staring at a blank page. Somewhere, in my recent past, There is an ocean of feelings vast Filled with joy and with pain. But, somehow it’s gone out of touch, So far, so much, That I’m staring at a blank page.
