Wow. that is awful. I dont think I would call the cops because I dont think there is much they could do. I dont know if they could do anything but maybe call social services and see if they help people with chemical enblances. Im glad that Sera is okay (i love that spelling by the way) its up to you on what to do though. I just wish i could be more help  |

if you called the police, they would probably take her to the hospital...Iknow in Canada..at least where I live..people that have mental problems like this.....can be arrested under the mental health act..however they dont go to jail..they go to a hospital...but I'm not sure whether I would call the police or not.....if it was my child...I'd be hanging that psycho up by her feet  |

OMG!!!! chemical imbalance or not, thats insane! you handled it ALOT better than I would have. I would have snatched my baby back as soon as she started unbuttoning the onesie! I honestly don't know what I would do...but I would want to do SOMETHING! I would probably call the police and explain it to them and see what can be done about it. that lady could end up seriously hurting someone. what happens to the next lady who doesnt know she has a chemical imbalance and lets her hold their child? What will happen to the next child she holds? I would at least call and ask.  |

This should not be allowed to happen again. She could have injured your child. Just because this happened in church doesn't mean that everyone is okay. Don't allow anyone you feel uncomfortable with to offer advice or take control of your child. I would report it. Going to church doesn't mean one has no responsibility to society. Even if she is not arrested, someone must act and not allow this to happen again. This person could easily harm a child and the church and other authorities shouls be aware of her actions. She should not be giving medical advice, or administering "home remedies" in church.  |

I don't think I would call the cops because it is over and done with, and your baby is fine now. This lady apparently thought she was trying to help. If you see her again, just don't let her near your baby. But no, I wouldn't call the police. I don't see what they could possibly do. I highly doubt that she's going to be wandering around town trying to nab everyone's babies just so she can do the same thing to them.  |

you should at least contact someone who can give you a heads up wheather or not this lady has a PAST if you know what i mean. if she does, it sounds pretty sick that anyone would do anything like this to a baby of any age. i would have called the police. if everyone let everything go, no one would know who to keep their kids away from. a chemical embalance does not mean the person is stupid. and just because someone goes to church does not make them good. good luck. |
