When your taking care of your cousins animals do the best you can. Make sure You do it and not your mom. Show that your responsible that way. Do extra things for the animals that you wouldnt normally do. Your mom could be impressed and let you get the dog. I hope you end up getting it:)  |

Dolphin nope.. SPCA is the animal shelter and here the pound doesn't adopt out animals they take the sick and injured ones now..But since the SPCA didn't have the dog I wanted I found a place in Vancouver that is a rescue for boader collies. They got the same rates. Thanks SC I'm trying not to tick her off. I'm just keeping my cool about it. Taking my time......Lita yea I'm gonna go get some tennis balls and a box of treats.. man he's spoiled..lol.. I'm gonna be bringing him home too play some in my backyard.. Wish you guys could him, Parky is just a big baby..lol.. thanks all! *Canuck Hugs* -des  |

dogs are good loyal friends, and need alot of attention. if you are sure you want to take on the responsability of scooping poop off the lawn, feeding, grooming, walking,it and other things, (you need to spend alot of time with dogs.) more of a family member than a pet. remind her of the dogs loyalty, security dogs bring to homes, and the fact that just petting a dog is good for anyones blood pressure. also, makes it easier to be home alone. dont forget those shots, tags, food, and being spayed is expensive not to mention the toys, flea baths, tick collars and so on. just be sure you are ready and willing to give up that much time. i wish you the best. remember to not wine. this enrages most parents, instead take a more adult like tone and approach your parrents with as much understanding for them as you want them to have for you. |
