Personally I think that it's the ??? Of voting that keep many from voting. Like I really want to vote this year, but at 30 years old I have never voted and am afraid of getting in there and not being able to figure it all out. I know who I want for president and governor (or rather who I don't want) but out side of that I have'nt a clue. They should have voting for dummies or something. Or do they and I missed that. I have voted in every election I was of age to and will continue to. as for this next election I think the presidential race is soured by the lack of a reasonable canidate so I am focusing on local ballot issues.

Well, I never read the other replies before commenting so...you'll get my real opinion here. As for politics, yes... they can be confusing. The only way to get a truly objective opinion and become informed, is to watch a VARIETY of news programs. Yes, they can be boring but in order to vote for what you feel is right for our country, it's necessary. When I line up Bush's policies against Kerry's (even though they change every day), it's obvious to me that Bush is the better choice. I will be voting this year as I feel it is VERY important that our country has a strong and STABLE leader at this crucial time. |

Good luck on not starting a debate here lol. But I am voting, I need to keep the key elements in my life such as tax credits to help us survive. Therefore, I am voting 100% Kerry. |

Pyrifera...I'm not sure what you're referring to with Kerry and taxes credits. BUSH is the one that just raised the marriage and child tax credit, in case you didn't know. |

Simplexity, I completely understand what you mean...I'm really not liking my choices here. AngelBelle, I know you need to be 18...lol...i should have specified young ppl (18-mid 20s). I agree with you also Oddsmell, I will be voting also, just not sure for who. YouChoose, you have a lot of good points, what really got me was that politicians don't focus on they younger generation be cause they're not interested. My thought was that if they want to secure the future, they should try to get the attention of the younger vote, instead of just doing the same old thing. Pyrifera, thank you for your oppinion. I can't think of anything to reply to you with because I don't really know what your reffering to, I'm sorry. Moma Bug, I know exactly what you mean, I don't know if we should really put our trust into Kerry, but I'm not real happy with Bush either, ya know? Anywho off the subject...thanx for all your replies, And if you are a non-voter don't be afraid to put your replies here, I want your oppinion too! I don't want debate, just thoughts! *peace and love* |
