Thanks spooky. Yeah alot of things work for others. Like I use sno bowl in my tub. You just have to make sure you rinse very well. |

i do that sometimes too. but only in my bathroom sink. my tub doesnt have that enamel{sp} stuff to protect it, and it would stain it. i found out the hard way ,and it took forever to get that stuff off, lol. :D:D:D |

Vinegar and water maybe?? They would come out without water spots. I know one thing that is very much worth its money is those new Mr Clean sponges. I dont know how they would do as far as tiles, but just something to keep in mind as far as other cleaning goes. The sponge even took permanent marker off the wall! |

KABOOM! i'm serious, that's what it's called. You can order it on t.v. but i found some at lowes. home depot may have it. it is really strong (odor) so you may want to wear a mask but it could just be me! i have to wear a mask for just about everything except comet and dish detergent!! kaboom actually got the soapy scummy lines off my shower and bathtub walls. never use vinegar on tile. i don't remember exactly why but it screws up your grout. i had tiles all around my bathroom and i got so sick of it i had my hubby remodel the bathroom just to get rid of the stuff!! |

Those Mr. Clean Eraser thingies work great on grout and tubs, but they don't last long. Plan on using a 4 pack ;o) I have an ancient (seriously ancient!) bathtub that I've almost got back to white by using those. It removes the crud around faucets really good, too. You shouldn't use toilet cleaner in the tub, it pits the finish and makes your problem worse in the long run. If rust is a problem... my mom used to use some stuff called navel jelly (she got it at the hardware store.) and make us wipe down the shower walls after every shower. |

Kaboom is great, just spray and run! LOL! Seriously though, it's fantastic stuff but it pongs! It can also be a little harsh on asthmatics. |

There is a cleaner out in the dollar stores called Awesome and it has done wonders for this house and you can use it on almost anything. It says to delute it but I never do. I use it in all of the houses I clean and the customers have noticed the difference! |

Moma Bug I know what you mean, every smell is strong to me as well. There are very few perfumes that I can wear that don't make me sick. Bleach about kills me so I rarely use it. spooky gal we had a trailer once that had one of those plastic like showers and i used the sno bowl on it and it started smoking, almost scared me to death. I think i read that it has some kinds of acid in it. I've heard that the plain white tooth paste works wonders, we'll see maybe. House work sucks. Love and smiles :o) |
