I wrote this post with George, but I could write hundreds of pages about this dear woman. She was my sister here on the site, she was my mentor in learning how to improve my ability to love unconditionally. She helped me progress my idea's in so many ways. She always was an Angel for me, and I'm sure she will be close to all of us forever. She was dynamic in her wish to help everyone around her, even if it was 'letter of the law' which I'm sure made a couple of people here go 'grrr' ... LOL. **Sigh**... There just isnt words to describe our beautiful Linda. The last words I heard from here (through her machine) was "I love you Sis"... I can still hear it. I can close my eyes, and think of Linda, and just remember what a beautiful, loving and forgiving soul she was. There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind how much she loved USM and G&G. USM WAS her life for a very long time. She loved each one of us in a special way. She was here for so many people, so many times, sometimes until the wee hours of the mornng if people needed to talk to her. I know I learned a lot from Linda... I learned the power of LOVE and the power of FORGIVENESS and the power of another human being reaching out to me in such a beautiful way. I loved Linda dearly, and she has a place in my heart that will always be there. I just dont know what else to say, I am just going to have to "feel" from this point forward. Ginger, when Amanda told me that you called yesterday afternoon with this news, I was saddened, I was hurt, my heart felt heavy... but then I remembered a conversation I had with her once, when her disease came back this last time, while she could still talk ... she told me NOT to be sad when she passed, that she was ready, that she had everything between her and God right and she knew she wanted to go "home"... Now she is truly our USM Angel, she is truly someone to watch over us. LINDA BLAIS, I LOVE YOU, NOW AND ALWAYS!!! YOU ARE TRULY MY SISTER! ........  |

This is a beautiful Memeorial Tribute in Your Honour. I believe you are going to get to read this. God lead you here to USM in the first place, and I believe God will allow you to witness your Memorial, too *giggles* Well, I know you said do not cry for you, but ya know.. it is easy to say that when you are talking to the other person in real time on the phone, or on yahoo, or in profiles.. and time had not shed light yet. I will be fine, just very overwhelmed with the emotions that are soaring out to me in extreme volumes from this post alone. Only once in a lifetime are we priveleged to meet an angel who has been sent to us and who has so lovingly touched the hearts of all who knew her. I do not grieve for this beautiful soul who has earned the right to return to her heavenly home once again where she will no longer be in pain. Unselfishness , love and kindness were simply second nature to her and none of us could do better than to pattern our own lives after hers. I had prepared myself for the day when we would hear of Linda's passing, but even so, I am still in a bit of shock. Linda was one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. She never forgot her family, or her friends and loved them regardless of their different opinions, personalities, and beliefs. Such a sweet lady. She's in heaven. She is okay. She told me. Honest she did. I had a visitor on Tues night just after I turned out the light to go to sleep. It (she) stroked the top part of my right hand then patted my hand three times then rubbed it again. It said. I'm okay. I'm home and I'm safe. It is okay to miss me. This was not a dream as I was wide awake when it happened. It did put my heart at ease a bit. But I miss her terribly.  |

This seemed so sudden. I remember when she was sick last time and I'm glad she had gotten better then and was able to spend time on earth a bit longer. I didn't really know her that well, b/c I'm don't really say to much online until i've met people in person, but i am sorry to hear this. She was however a great usm admin and did alot. These sad news leaves me in a shock. It is so sad when I get the news of a USM family member passing away. And, even though we are sad that her physical presence are not with us today, we should be happy that she has been born into the spiritual world where love is eternal. Linda was such a kind woman. To think of what a difference that this community makes in each other's lives is a bit mindblowing at times. Linda touched lives and those lives in turn, made hers so much brighter. I am sure that Linda is in a place right now, where she has no pain and has the fredom that she may have been slighted here on Earth. She now has a place to spread her wings. I know I am late, I am ready they memories of post, I miss Linda so much, we used to talk on the phone alot until kids started growing up & got busy. Then I lost my password, I finally remembered it & came back the day Crash died.. she was an angel & she still walks the halls of USM.. her spirit will always be here, I pray her family & USM will find peace & comfort in her passing.. I know the hurt will never go away.  |
