I used to think it was a 'ghost story' saved for Halloween but have since found out it is true. When my father was a boy of about 11 or so, him and a friend decided to explore this house that was boarded up. The elderly couple had passed away some time ago.While they were exploring upstairs they heard the piano playing downstairs. they thought it was their friends playing tricks on them. So they ran downstairs and could find no one. Then they heard noises upstairs so they ran upstairs real fast. The older mans clothes were laid out on the bed. This process repeated between the piano and the ladies clothes were laid out. All the time they thought it was a friend. Until they snuck downstairs and found the ironing board out and the iron was hot. There was no electricity in this house and it was too far to transport a hot iron. They fled as fast as they could. A couple days later, the house burned down.
