I can't really say that I'm a firm believer in astrology and the like, but I really do think that there may be something in it after all. My bedroom is small and the doorway is to the right of my desk (no-one can enter my room without me seeing them), with my bed and the window being behind me when I am seated at the desk. About a year ago, I was sitting at my desk as always, studying, when I sensed something behind me. Just as the hairs on the back of my neck started to stand up, my cat (who I had picked up off my doorstep as a stray just weeks before)came tearing into the room hissing and spitting, with her fur all end, and she stood facing the corner of my room furthest away from me. She stood between me and this corner of the room. After a couple of minutes her hissing settled down to a kind of growl. This lasted a few minutes, then she was calm again. She jumped up onto my lap, purring and rubbing against me. I had never seen her behave like this before. Several months later, I was sitting in the same place when I again felt a presence behind me. This time I remained still but glanced out of the corner of my eye and saw something come screaming across the room towards me. I turned quickly but could see nothing. I then heard my cat meowing frantically to be let in. When I opened the door she came in and stood in the same place as last time but instead of growling, she stood with her nose in the air, as if sniffing. Not long after, my first experience was repeated only this time I sensed the 'spirit' I guess you could call it, close behind me but then my cat entered and began the strange behaviour I had seen in the first case. These experiences scared me and I often felt the hairs on my neck prickle when I entered my room. Often, I had felt someone or something standing over me while I was asleep in bed. I began to look into things such as exorcism and crystal protection and decided to 'give it a go' by hanging a crystal in the ! corner of my room where I first felt the 'spirit'. Since then, although many times I have seen it in the corner through the corner of my eye, I have never felt threatened by it, nor has my cat ever had to repeat her mysterious behaviour (she does however, avoid that corner of my room like the plague). I am thankful for my cat, I love her very much and I am happy to say that she is still with me - getting very lazy and fat. She has the gentlest temperament I have ever known and I believe now that she came to protect me. I would like to hear from anyone who has had a 'psychic pet' experience as it interests me greatly.
