Truthfully, I do believe human spirits can become "earthbound" because they have unfinished buisness, or maybe they really don't know, or acknowlage they are dead.I also believe Demomns can & do imitate humans & therefore try to keep people's eyes off of God.........ladyspirit_guide  |

I believe that they are the people that didn't complete thier lessons, and then died an unnatural death (died before thier time) so they need to remain on earth or where ever until they can finish that lesson...then they will go onto thier next life and next lesson  |

I tend to disagree with those who say spirits are evil or people who died before their time. I don't believe you can choose when you die, it's already set out for you and I dont know how you define a ghost but sometimes a 'spirit' can be reassuring and therefore not evil. I believe that heaven and earth are paralell and that the entities on earth are those relatives who are helping us along the way. Possibly even angels - GlowBuggie  |

The "ghosts" you are refering to are demonic counterfeits impersonating deceased relatives. They do this as to confuse people into thinking they will will skip either going to heaven or hell. Corinthians 3:16, For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son,so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have everlasting life. Those who have passed over, go to the level that is appropriate to their spiritual development. There are many spiritual "planes" and each soul goes to the one where it "fits". There is no permanent Hel#...but there are lower astral planes where the troubled & less developed spirits reside. The spirits who have developed to the highest degree, go to a higher level that could be described as Heaven. Some of these souls may volunteer to come back to help the less developed on earth. In eastern metaphysics they are known as Bodhisatvas. Others have the option of staying in the spirit world, and from there, they draw near the Creator/Source/God and eventually are able to reunite with him.  |

Ok, that is a very easy one to clear up. You see, if your grandma, for example, is in heaven, and you see her ghost, then it may be a demon impersonating her, especially if you sense a foreboding malevolence coming from her and there is disturbing activity. However, your grandmother could also not have passed on to Heaven, because she isn't at peace yet. In that case, she may be a ghost, yet, in this situation, you aren't likely to sense malevolence from her, unless she was a mean person in life, but their may be poltergeist activity nevertheless, its how ghosts seem to let their presence be known. I don`t think we know quite what they are...most commonly called ghosts, if in the form of one of your relatives...who`s to say Impossible!? Ok, here is my take on this. Not all people go to heaven. Some people don't want to go after they've passed on, whether it's because they have unfinished business, they feel like they wanted more life, of because they want to stick around to protect family members or their investments. There really is no simple reason for the explanation of the existance of ghost or paranormal phenominom (hope I spelled that right), because there are so many different reasons. If your grandmother is visiting you and she seems to be the sweet, nurturing individual that she was in life, then she is probably hanging around to watch over you, like a guardian angel of sorts. However, not all spirits are good. Some of them are jealous, they are mad because they feel like they deserve more that just death. They are, essentially, greedy. Depending on the spirit, the reason is always different. I hope this explains it for you. Good luck! --GBuster |

Actually ghosts can be many things. A soul who does not realize that it has died, an energy image that is left upon a place like a video tape, playing over and over again. Sometimes ghosts can even be our dead relatives who have taken the chance to come from Heaven to visit us for whatever reason, to help us, to help them finish something they didn't get to finish. Heaven is not a prison, souls can come and go as need be, and when they need to they may appear to you, and you see them as a ghost. catseye  |

There are different types of ghosts. One type of ghost is the "recording ghost" which is like a psychic recording that has been layed down in a certain location. These ghosts do not interact with people...they just repeat the same things over and over: sounds, sightings etc. On the other hand "personal ghosts" are conscious disembodied human spirits who are self-aware and are able to inter-act with the living. |

I believe that our dead realation have passed on also, the bible says its given to man to live ONCE. When satan was kicked out of heaven he took a third of the angels with him. Now if you read in the book of revalations you will see that there are tens upon tens upon tens upton tens of thousands of angels. So if satan took one third that is a whole lot of fallen angels that came with him. These spirits have been here since the beginning of time on this earth and know everything about every person on this planet, they are called familiar spirits. They can take form of a loved one and they can remember the things that person knew. There are no ghost or people trapped because of a violent death ect if that was true there wouldn't be a place, house or town that wasn't haunted by the dead! They are unclean and evil spirits of the devil/.  |
