I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm not much into history. But, I seem to have this huge fasination with the history of Titanic.

On April 14th, it will be the 96th anniversary of the sinking of Titanic. Out of the very few that were saved, there is only one living sirvivor left, and her name is "Millvina" Dean. She was born on February 2nd 1912. "Millvina" Dean held a third class ticket, she was one of the very few children from third class to survive.

"Millvina" Dean lives in Southampton, United Kinkdom, and I have found her address and I decided to write her and see if I can get an autographed picture of her. It will go great with the collection of Titanic stuff that I have started collecting.

So, are there any other USMer's that collect Titanic stuff, or is interested in Titanic history? Also, I was wondering if anyone from USM had relatives on the Titanic? Come on and share your stories.

Date: 3/26/2008 7:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 38406    I am very much interest in Titanic history. I wish I got the chance to be on it even if it did sink. I believe I was born at the wrong time because I love everything about that time from the clothes to how people acted. I believe it would have been a sad and scared but wonderful experience to be on the Titanic.
Date: 3/26/2008 7:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 14314    I have been interested in everything about the Titanic since I was about 10 yeaars old, I love reading about it. Good luck with the autograph!! God Bless
Date: 3/26/2008 7:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 15070    You know, my Daughter thinks she was a passenger on the Titanic (reincarnated). She had trace memories from Childhood, and when the Titanic Display traveled through Tampa, she went with her Fiance', and actually had an "emotional" reaction to the artifacts. She even correctly identified items from the Ship.
Date: 3/26/2008 7:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 15070    Also, when the movie Titanic came out, my Daughter would watch it, and say "That's not what happened".
Date: 3/26/2008 7:49:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 61946    YankeesGirl...I think it would have been an experiance to remember and pass on, but I wouldn't have wanted to be on the Titanic.
Date: 3/26/2008 7:50:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 61946    Thank you CissyCP...I would also love to meet her, but by the time that I could afford to make the trip, I'm sure she would have passed on since she is 96.
Date: 3/26/2008 7:52:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 61946    Spirit Child...That would be so awesome. Ya never know, she may have been there.
Date: 3/26/2008 10:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 62100    Wow Eryka..that was amazing..thanks for sharing that :) I actually did a report on the Titanic that my teacher allowed me to post on a bulletin board in the hall outside of our classroom when I was in 5th grade..which was during the time that they had located the Titanic...I always thought it to be very interesting and sad..
