I go to bed around 11pm usually and get up around 5:30am. And NO I'm not a morning person. It takes me until almost noon to fully wake up LOL. I'm a light sleeper and sometimes I dont get enough sleep during the night. |

I have always been an early riser and now it's worse than ever. When I was working I'd get up at 5 in the mornings. Now that I'm retired I've been falling asleep in my chair in the evenings for 3 or 4 hours , get up gp to bed and wake between 2 and 4 in the mornings. They say the older you get your sleeping habits changes. So i guess that's what is going on. ........Clifford. |

I guess I am a morning person. I never used to be, but I like being up in the morning and getting things done- I feel guilty and lazy when I sleep past 9. Really, when I sleep past 8 but sometimes I need the rest! I just recently became an early riser- my husband still likes to sleep in. I think it's a matter of having a home and dogs to take care of and a lot of homework to do- I like getting things done early so I can relax later in the day- I don't like having things to do right up until bed time. |

My schedule doesn't really permit me to be a morning person. I think I would actually like it, but it would take a lot of work to transition myself there. Right now I am pretty nocturnal. I have to say that I do sleep better during the day... I work until 1 a.m., and have classes during the day... Most of my sleep takes place between 4-5 a.m. and can last as far as 7 a.m. to 11, depending on the day of the week and what classes I have. On the weekends, I really really tend to sleep late on Saturday... sometimes until noon... I'm not ashamed of it because I am busy otherwise. I don't like it when I see people who don't work and only have school that sleep for hours and hours and hours - it irritates me. I'm probably just jealous, heh. |

After being on graveyard shift for twenty years(I'm retired since 2005), I find that I can't sleep at all some nights. I still have a flaky schedule but I would like to wake up early during the daylight hours as there's much to be done. |

I've turned into much more of a morning person lately. I used to have a lot of classes at 8 (waking up at 6:30) which were really rough for me. Now, I have classes at 9:30 which makes so much of a difference! I like to get up a little early and get stuff done. I still get up around 7:15 or so, but the extra 45 minutes of sleep is just amazing and I'm so much more well-rested. |

My brother has one of those crazy sleep patterns. He'll go to sleep at 3-4 am, wake up at 6:45 and go to school. He'll come home in the afternoons and take a 4-5 hour nap. And then on the weekends it's not rare for him to wake up around 2-3 pm. |

Lately i've been having insomnia. I can't sleep thru the night. I usually sleep for 2 hours during the time i'm trying to fall asleep. Then, my alarm clock goes off -_- So, now i'm tired all the the day, unless I get a nap in. It sucks! |

I'm only a morning person during the summer. I love waking up to bright sunny mornings and doing errands. During the winter though I sleep. I hate snow |

Hmmm medication did you say??? Yeah when I got put on medication I noticed I went from a vampires sleeping pattern, to a more normal sleeping pattern. I say it's a good thing if that be the case though. |

I am so not a morning person!! I used to work third shift because, I am a night owl. Now, while looking for work I will have to revert to going to bed early and rising early lol. On the weekdays I usually don't go to bed until, the little ones are on the school bus about 6:30am and then, I am up and ready to go about noonish. On the weekends, if the kiddos let me I usually sleep in until about 8am. |

I don't like mornings. I'd be very content to sleep til 9:30 every morning if I could (I don't think I could go later now - a - days....) But unfortunately the kidlets don't agree to that. So most mornings I'm up at 7:30. Even if they DON'T wake up then, I do...Guess my body is use to it by now. |

I am not a morning person. I have a hard time making it to my 8 o clock class I have on tuesdays and thursdays. I've already missed it like 7 times. I HATE being up early for any reason. On the other hand: if I am already up from pulling an all nighter it doens't bother me to be up at that time. Weird huh? |

I'm definitely a morning person and have been all my life. I go to sleep around 10 and up by 4:30. I love the peace and quiet of the morning and watching the sun come up is like rebirth. Sunsets just make me sad. |

Nope, I'm a night person. Never an early riser. People go into shock if they get a call from me pre 10am on the weekends. LOL. Although, I must say, lately I can't handle the late nights and am in bed much earlier. I'm on holidays at the moment and am loving the sleep ins. I'm up early (8.30am) today. LOL |

I hear you on that one, I have HORRIBLE insomnia, ADHD and Epilepsy. Until I get back on all of my medicines, I will never have a normal sleep pattern. When I was out in Missouri, you HAD to be up by 5/6am to get ready for class...and it was non-stop. My first classes were at 6/7 up until 10 and that was Chapel, then Lunch, them more classes, then study time, then free time...and I didn't get back in until 1 (curfew) and didn't get to bed until almost 3 because of my insomnia and my seizure meds. Then coming back here, all of my schedule is screwed up. My wife works nights, so I like to stay up and wait for her, then sleep, but my new job is a morning job, so I have to keep a regular sleep pattern. I don't particularly like it, I like being a nightowl, but it will work out. I'm sure glad you're getting better kate! :D |
