Ok USM time to get back into shape!!!

Ok I went to the groups and I saw that we do have a wieghtloss support group here on usm. But, the last post was from Septemeber of 07? lol Did we loose track. j/k

Anywho, I really want to get back into shape. I want to loose wieght. Eat healthy. I actually started last week. I stopped drinking. Stopped eating fast food. I am trying to cut out diet pop. This is my goal and this is where I am giong with this.

Most of my other friends are lazy and won't even try to eat less and exercise, well I am going to. I am going to change my life.

I am willing to get this group back up and running. Get all usmer's who want to loose wieght also.

I am actually willing to post my picture of my wieght loss results. Also note how much I loose too.

So if anyone is up for the challenge and we can help each other lets do this!!!

I think it would be fun.

Even for starters now.

I am a "now" beautiful 5'7.5 I wieght 175 lbs. I would like to be 145 lbs. My body will never ever be skinny like a model, I love who I am. I got my body mass index from

***Also please remember no one is the same. Some people are stocky like me. Some people are tall some are very short. Some are here and there.

Me I am Horozontially challenged. Yeah I said it. But, this is my goal. People are beautiful for who they are.

But I am wanting to do this to improve myself and help others in the process.

So let me know what you think.

I am looking at doing weekly wiegh ins for myself and pics.

I went on this diet...You can have all the meat and vegetables you wanted too....But I was only allowed 6 points a day. Those points were just carbohydrates. ! point = 15 grams carbohydrates. Doesn't matter what what you ate. So I was allowed 6 points a day. But, FRESH vegetables and meat I was allowed to eat as much as I wanted too.

STay away from the low carb diets, they, in the long run, aren't good for you. WW is the best, most natural weight loss system, in my opinion. You don't cut out, just cut down. I've been watching my weight since October, and it's taken me all of that time to drop only 7.5 kilos. But, I walk, and I've toned down heaps, and have gone down a dress size. Yay! I get disappointed that it is taking so long, but I'm almost 45, so I can't expect miracles. What I've done is given myself a smaller dinner plate, made sure I have plenty of fruit and water. I've still got about 5 -6 kilos to go, but I'll get there. I've learnt not to give up, just keep going. Hope this is of some help to you. Good luck! Enjoy the new shape you are becoming. Stay strong! I always tell myself to stay in the zone.

LOVE. to do this. i have gained *eek* 80 lbs since high school graduation 4 years ago. i don't even want to name my weight, but it's gotten out of control. i have been looking for someone to do this with me but my friends are sooo unmotivated and so very comfortable being overweight that i have felt losing weight was a lost cause. i'd start, then give up. i would love to do this with you guys. i just want to be healthy again.. i used to be the one voted "beauty" in high school... not i feel more like the "beast". =/ i wanna get back there!
