~Stranger's Heart~ *Blue*   Author:  48250  Category:(Poetry) Created:(3/27/2008 11:25:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (74 times) Stranger’s Heart~ When I look into your eyes I see suspicion---or is it accusation Maybe You are believing Someone's lies There you go again Keeping your distance I cannot pretend Love does not exist any more What’s this all about Emotional distance How can I be persistent Is it hurt------something much worse What’s it gonna be Can’t talk your way out Sitting there---- Is Your heart made of stone When You’ve made An art out of ignoring me Who is the one I really see Staring back at me Who is it you are pretending to be Just someone I once used to know From so long ago Or perhaps you are Someone I never really knew at all Without compassion As if love just went out of style No compromising your position----- When the name of the game is denial You say, You’ll grow old being the only one lonely and all alone If the hidden culprit means war Some how awaiting behind enemy lines Then real love Would it really matter Or gladly take the fall I cannot make you see Mystifying to me It’s not how love should Really be Though it hurts More then I can say Stranger’s heart Which one----- who have you really become It’s down to you and I Leaving There’s no choice for me Love is not a game you play Who’s to blame?
