Could be my nervous system is just wired funny. I did have one job I really liked...the one where I worked on the Kenworth truck cab interiors. I held that job for four years. That job ended only because the company went out of business. It depends on the job I guess...the type of people I work with, and other factors. Mostly I've done outdoor maintenance for apt. complexes & office parks. Oh yeah I did have another job I kinda liked-working in a plastics factory. But eventually I lost that one to an anxiety attack before I could pop an Ativan. Well the first marriage lasted 4 years. She was a nice young Christian girl, 13 years my junior. I think she wanted to find someone more exciting & romantic...and so to my deep shock one day...well I won't go there now. I loved her and it was a major blow to me. The next wife was a Japanese/Hawaiian who was about my age. I met her through a Little Nickle personals colume. We got married on April Fools Day. Now I may (do) have some psychological issues but SHE was much worse off then me. She did 10 years for aggravated murder in Hawaii before her sentence was overturned. Talk about a temper! I guess it was kinda stimulating to have some one to fight with sometimes. At any rate I truly think she is a sociopath...& I'm not saying that out of meaness. I put my trust in her as far as our financial affaires went...and we went a few grand into dept. But as I like to say...she may have temporarily ruined my financial situation, but at least she never broke my heart. TC |

I've been in lots of veterans programs (I'm a Vietnam era vet) both as inpatient & outpatient...also some rehabs & psych programs payed for by job insurance. Oh I think I learned alot. Unfortunatly all that good knowledge kinda flies out the window when I'm angry, disgusted or discouraged. At these times I willfully just say to my self "Ah He## with it!"...& then go off and do...whatever. I know all the good stuff that's taught, but you have to have a willing spirit to go along with it. TC |
Date: 2/28/2000 6:47:00 AM
From Authorid: 2734
That's true about the willing spirit. My dad is Vietnam era too *wince* sorry. He has trouble with it all too. He holds on to his pain. I do not know what to say because I have never been through war. I would be condenscending if I said, "get over it." Sooo, I try to guide him in a different way. He always feels as if someone is out to get him. I don't blame this solely on Vietnam, there are other factors. Upbringing, undiagnosed ADD, his own personality. I get down sometimes too, and I forget all of the things that I am supposed to remember. And then I just stop, slow down and concentrate on things getting better and if there is anything I can do to speed up the process. I also surround myself with extremely supportive people. People who pick me up and shake off the dust and I do the same for them when they are going through troubles. A support network can go a long way. MMC |

Date: 4/9/2000 12:27:00 PM ( From Author )
From Authorid: 177
...telepathic communication being the sole (no pun intended) means of communicating during the intervals the spirit spends in the spiritual planes. Being that humans are also spirits-albeit clad in flesh-we also have this ability to some extent. Being flesh-clad is a handicap that can be overcome. We all have latent psi talent, to varying degrees, and some folks are so advanced as to deserve to be called psychic. Psychic skills can be developed by anyone who's determined enough & disciplined enough. |

Well, MMC...hmmm...I get an impression of a window facing to the east, with a view of some other aptartments, plus some trees & shrubbery. The inside of your apt. is pinkish in color; the overall appearance is somewhat rumpled, although by no means messy. Quite a few feminine touches around the place. I will try and astraly project myself to your apt. tonight-or whenever I can manage to get out-of body. Could you, perhaps, leave your body & meet me half way? I'd hate to get lost and end up in someone elses place. I shall try and make my self visible to you at midnight. Yes I agree, ESP Girl. I honestly think we all have alot of undeveloped psychic talent. Some people are born with it well developed, but anyone can work on becoming more psychically sensitive, through study, and practice. Some people become very psychic after suffering electrical shocks, or other accidents...espescially if they also had a Near-Death-Experience. |
|
Date: 1/5/2001 1:59:00 PM
I found your story interesting but totally unrelated to telepathy. Where I am from, we use telepathy as the means for communication. And that is just what it is. We do not communicate using a language of audible sounds, we communicate by transferring complete understanding. There are no words, only thoughts and those thoughts allow the "listener" to completely understand the experience I have had. For example, if I had just eaten a piece of fruit, I could convey to you everything that I experienced while eating that fruit. I could make you "see" the color of the fruit, "feel" the texture, "recognize" the shape, "hear" the sound made while eating the the fruit, "smell" the aroma and "taste" the flavor of the fruit. You will be able to experience exactly what I did. That is telepathy. I can "whisper" so that only you can "hear" me or I can "yell" so that all can "hear" me. But there is no sound there are no words. Telepathy does not allow me to "read" your mind or for you to "read" my mind. It is a way to communicate similar to talking but far more advanced. |

Dear anonymous....you say that it wasn't telepathy. What would you call it then? I understand the type of thing that you mentioned: wordless, mental communication. But in this particular instance, I projected a specific sentence to my cousin's mind. There are more than one type of ESP phenomena, you know. Bye the way....where do you come from? |

That was a really good story, and forget all the bad comments people had to say. They don't understand the concept that's all. And for that you must laugh. Laugh at the foolish people who will one day come to realize the truth in telepathy. Now the question I pose to you is this, do you believe in telekinesis? |
Date: 4/11/2001 1:47:00 PM ( From Author )
