Laundry is simple!! Chunck'em all in a creek... go bout 4 or 5 miles downstream and fish'em all out!... throw 'em in the back of a pick-up truck, they should be dry by the time you get back home... of course folding is always optional!! :) *Spirit* |

Yes I do.. but my washer/dryer is old and small and just stinks in general so a lot of the time I was all my whites/darks/delicate things etc in one or two loads on the delicate cycle in cold water lol.. then drying is such a pain cause the dryer is small and can't get everything dry so i have to hang stuff in the house or out on the line.. and blah blah.. so laundry is a hassle lol |

Whites hot water wash, cold water rinse (18-12 minutes , you pick the time) and the * to dry. Colors as in dark can be done in cold water wash and cold water rinse (18-12 minutes) and again the * to dry until dry. Bright colors should only be done in cold water wash/rinse (or at least that's just me) and dried on low heat until done. |

My mom has been doing my laundry as of late because I'm too pregnant to do anything :P When I do my own laundry, I HAVE to sort everything: towels, darks, whites, and my husband's work clothes. And I use waaaaay too many dryer sheets. :P |

Whites separate from darks for graying prevention. Wash all in cold except towels, sheets and unmentionables. |

Of course hunny, I've had many many years of practise. I sort out my washing also, whites, coloureds, dark and black. Sometimes I can put the darks in with the blacks, and sometimes depending how much white is in the actuall light coloured clothes they can go together as well..the amount of water just depends how much of a load you have in the machine, but always have more in it than you think you need...thats how I do it....oh and I always hang the blacks in the shade so they won't fade as much, and I hang my smalls (undies) on the inside of the line lol!!! :) |

the only things I really separate are the whites and I wash them in hot with about a cup of bleach to keep them white the others I wash in cold and they do just fine. I'm not a delicates kind of guy buy if you have any delicates they should be washed separately on that cycle. :) |

I just loves doin' Laundry, and hanging it all out on a clothesline-----nothing like the fragrance of cool sheets and other linens brought in from a clothesline after being outside all afternoon in the Sunshine....I don't mind ironing them either...:-P Better watch them honeybees though! ;) :D It just takes a little practice Sweet Pea but you'll learn in no time.....I actually enjoy it...hehe yea I'm a little s-p-o-o-k-y----or so I've been told... hehe :D....T/C |

Yes, I know how to do my laundry. Basically, I just throw it in the washer, then throw it in the dryer. I don't always separate colors, even though I know you're supposed to, but my stuff never turns pink, thank God! LOL |

I do my laundry by letting it all pile up in many baskets until I can no longer cram any into them... then I spend a full day a couple times a month doing load after load after load of laundry. I don't know why I do this... I have too many clothes. I think it would be cheaper to just wash them, heh. I don't understand why my dryer has the following options though: Dry/More Dry/ Less Dry.
I just want dry clothes, not more or less. |

I have 3 loads- Darks (cold), Lights (warm), and Whites (hot) and clothes get tossed in as the washer fills and laundry detergent goes on top- cause obviously you want the detergent to filter down through your laundry, not sit in the bottom of the washer. It can swish all you want, but if you put the detergent in first your clothes won't get as clean and you can't bring back all the detergent that seeped down through the holes before you turned on the washer. |

oh and like in cooking- use 3 parts clothes to 4 parts water...the less water in your wash, the less clean your clothes get. So always have more water than clothes if you want clean clothes. |

Not only do I know how to do my own, I know how to do the husband's, the daughter's, the son's, and the other son's! Plus the towels and bedding and blankets for the living room, and rugs and... and.... I probably do about 30 (or more) loads a week. Laundry is my life... and I hate it. (actually, I don't... it just gives me something to complain about :P) When I go on "vacation" for a day, it takes me 3 to catch up. |
