He led them on safely and in confident trust,
so that they feared not; but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He led them with a pillar of cloud by day and a tower of fire by night.. These shielded the Israelites from their enemies and reminded the people of God’s powerful presence with them. Looking to God is an important principle that can keep you from becoming disheartened.
As long as You maintain Your focus on God, You’ll be safe and confident. Yet take your eyes off of God and you will be overwhelmed by the troubles surrounding you. Friend, whatever you are facing today, take no heed of the impossibilities. Keep your gaze fixed solely on God. He’ll lead you safely through if you’ll just believe in Him.
God led His own people like sheep
and guided them with a shepherd’s care.,
like a flock in the wilderness.

Thoughts for Today:
Oft times, when troubles surround us---we will panic, In confusion; not knowing what to do----Whether it’s a health crisis; a bad report, the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, a break-up, a cherished object. Whatever the issue, the trial. When we begin to take our eyes off God, look at the problem, it begins to overwhelm us.
We begin to reason and worry, feeling pain, fretting. We begin to lose our peace and tranquility. If God can give charge to the Ravens to feed His Prophet Elijah, If He knows where every little Sparrow falls, Friend He can Provide for our every need, He can Fight Our Battles-------“For His Eye His Eye is on the Sparrow----and I Know, Yes I Know. He watches over me!”
Yes, He can take the bad that which was meant for our harm, and turn it into Good for us.----He will take that turmoil that trouble that storm in Your life---------Speak Peace, to the winds of adversity----trial and tribulation must obey His Voice. At His command the storms will cease; they simply haven’t any choice.
---------Place your total Trust in Him----Focus on Him not the problem-----If He does not remove the problem-------He promises that He will take You through it. When You have done your part, doing all that you can do, let go and Let God do the rest. When it seems your world is falling apart, Trust in the One who designed the vast universe. The results are tremendous above all and more then you could ever hope for!
