I have really long hair (like butt length) but only b/c I don't trust anyone to touch my hair except mom. Everyone else who touched my hair ruined it. I don't mean style wise, but like, one lady screwed it up so bad that half my hair fell out! I had NO bangs. Literally. Then the next person, trying to fix that mistake, cut my hair WAY too short and it was all jagged looking. And she was a professional. Anyway after many disappointments I'll just learn to live with long hair until I can afford a trip to TX. **Dotchi**  |

i used to have long hair down to my knees up till i was 11 , and then i cut it off just like you, up to my head really short, and i was thinking the same thing, but finally i just letit grow out long enough to put my hair in a pony tail, and i like my hair right where is it know, shoulder length.---15girl15----  |

I have like an oval shaped face, the thing is everyone said it looked so good short but I always have beatiful long blonde and hair and they can't decide which looks better??? My boyfriend likes it long!!!  |

I like both, depending on the person and their overall facial shape, size, etc. Myself, I wear mine about 3 inches past my shoulder, thick and wavy. If I had the facial shape though, I might shorten it in the summer. It's whatever makes you feel good, and feel comfortable.  |

my hair is kinda long and you do know that it is a hassle to wash it and all because it will be harder to wash and as for short hair that is really cute except you wouldn't be able to put your hair up in a ponytail so it is your decision...every choice has a pro and a con so i don't know it's your choice   |

Well,I think short hair looks really cute if they have the face shape to go with it.I have long hair,and it takes so much hassle!!!It takes forever to dry!!I am standing there for the longest time blowdrying it and if I don't blow dry it,I wake up the next day with my hair still wet.I think longer hair is more hassle to me,I get tangles it.But,I think if u have short hair it is less hassle and your head will feel lighter and you will just overall feel more cooler.  |

Never mind what they guys say!! Who's the one that has to mess with all that hair and keep it pretty everyday?? Personally, I keep bouncing back and forth between long (ish) and short. Like you I miss my ponytail, but as soon as I get it grown back, I cut it off again because I just can't stand having so much hair (or all the messes that go with it!). Just went through it again about 2 months ago...it HAD to go!! With your face shape... you can do whatever you feel like doing and still look great! (Think about all the time that you DIDN'T spend on your hair while it was short...and all the money you saved on styling products!!)  |

What is it with guys and long hair? Every man on the planet that I have ever known has always preferred women/girls with long hair. Personally, I like mine short. I just feel (lack of a better word) bouncier. Right now I'm growing mine out because my husband likes it long (now, that's a shocker-//-typical male) and I like his long...so, it's like a deal we made. He grows his out (for me) and I grow mine (for him). But I think mine looks stupid long. My hair is really fine and straight and it like clings to my head...and let me tell you, I haven't exactly got the nicest shaped head. It's not shaped like an egg or anything but it's got this spot on the back that's flat. My whole family has that flat spot. It's like someone slammed me in the back of the head with a skillet or something. (opps, sorry for rambling) Anyhow, do what you wanna do or be trendy and cut one side short and grow the other side out(lol). Good luck!  |
