Karrie...I am the proud "mommy" of a 2 year old blue doberman named Sage. There truly is not another breed like them. I wish more people knew how wonderful they truly are. Sage is my "velcro" dog. He is constantly at my side. Even right now, he is asleep under my feet. I'm so glad you have Lucky. ***Hugs*** |

Karrie that is a beautiful heart warming story. There is one thing you said that offends me. '''may seem boring to some folks''' Please never say those words when you talk about your loved ones. Your dog Lucky sounds just as important to you as he would to me and thanks for sharing this with me. Mow you know why I love my dogs. Give Lucky a BIG HUG for being a good friend and a life saver to you. |

Blue dobermans are just a color dilute of the black and tan. Sage is grey (blue) and tan. |

I can so relate! My Pepper watches me every afternoon at 2:00 to see if I am going to take a nap becasue that's when she gets to come and sleep with me for a couple hours. Targe' is usually here at my feet as I play on the computer. Sometimes he will knock my hand off the mouse to let me know he is serious about needing to go out. They are onery at times, but precious when they want to be! ;) |

Karrie-this story really warms my Heart! I have always loved Dobermans.(My Cousins had three, my Sister had one, and I had one, named "Cynde"). Our Dogs, our animals, are truly our family. With the recent loss in my own life, my dear little Oskar gets as close to me as he can, when I am lying down. He will lick the tears from my face, and knows when I need him nearby. Our lives would be so lonely without our Pets. This Tribute is simply lovely....:) |
