Anybody seen the Batman movie yet? It's soldout everywhere...

My friend and I were suppose to catch Batman tonight. I know, Saturday night, 3rd day after opening of the movie, we knew our luck would be short.

And it was, 9pm, 11pm, 12mn, 2am shows sold out

And next week, all the shows have already been filled in with pre-bookings.

I guess I'll have to wait a couple weeks, before the hype dies down.

But seems, like it's just about impossible to catch it.

To those who have, without spoiling it, is it really worth it? After all this hype, and sold out shows?

Date: 7/19/2008 6:38:00 AM  From Authorid: 63026    I love Batman, but this one looks to violent, and too gorey for me. I want to see a Batman movie with TWO Face, and the Riddler as the main bad guys.
Date: 7/19/2008 6:46:00 AM  From Authorid: 63743    It's worth it! I think the writers did a great job on the script and the actors did try to make it seem real...It is a bit too long but at the end is pretty much worth it and the special effects were great. Its actually not gory at all PsyGuy (I honestly dont even remember seeing blood at all) and I didnt think it was too violent, its more the suspence on whats going to happen next.
Date: 7/19/2008 7:17:00 AM  From Authorid: 14780    I seen it last night...Its good and worth seeing in the theatre instead of waiting for it to come out on video...I didnt think it was really that awesome but it was good.
Date: 7/19/2008 7:34:00 AM  From Authorid: 13546    Sold Out all around here too!! I am waiting till next weekend I think, to go and see it. But I really want to see it.. SOON!! It looks AWESOME!
Date: 7/19/2008 7:42:00 AM  From Authorid: 24003    I guess Im just wierd, I have no desire to see it at all. I went to see ONE batman movie in theatres, and I fell asleep.
Date: 7/19/2008 7:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 62849    I'm torn because while I really, really want to see it soon, I don't want to sit in the movie theater with a ton of noisy teenagers who need to check text messages every five minutes. So when the hype dies down, I'll go check it out. The problem with this movie is that I expect people to go see it multiple times... so it could be a month before I get my quiet morning showing, LOL.
Date: 7/19/2008 7:44:00 AM  From Authorid: 62849    Adrienne- I got dragged to see the first one in this series of Batman movies (Batman Begins). I didn't want to see it- had no desire at all. But after the movie, I got up to leave and realized that I had really enjoyed the entire thing. You can't really compare the old Batman movies (Tim Burton) to the new ones- they're completely different.
Date: 7/19/2008 8:58:00 AM  From Authorid: 24003    Thanks for letting me know Beags, I might give it a chance when it comes out on DVD. Im sure my kids will want to see it.
Date: 7/19/2008 9:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 39957    I went and saw it last night and it's great! They did a really great job on it. I would recommend seeing the movie.
Date: 7/19/2008 10:14:00 AM  From Authorid: 61966    I hear it's really good but I haven't seen it yet.
Date: 7/19/2008 10:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 62100    We thought about it last night but opted for Hancock instead..not because we don't want to see it, but my fiance has a bad back so after seeing that the movie is 2 hours 32 minutes we weren't sure his back would make it through that long in movie theater seats...after seeing just the trailer though we were saying that it might be worth it.. :)
Date: 7/19/2008 11:19:00 AM  From Authorid: 22275    Did you see my post? lol
Date: 7/19/2008 11:34:00 AM  From Authorid: 38119    I saw it last night and I thought it was very good. It's not really gory, though there is alot of violence. Heath Ledger created a very disturbing joker, which made for some chilling scenes.
Date: 7/19/2008 12:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 10245    if it's sold out everywhere, I imagine lots of people have seen it ;o)
