I noticed that I started to get a scratchy throat on Thursday, but didn't think much of it. I kept telling myself, "It will go away, you're not sick" Friday, my sore throat got a little worse and I started coughing. I went and got some cough drops and liquid stuff.
Today, I woke up chilly. I thought that was odd. I thought that maybe it's because the weather was chillier than the last few days. But I took my tempt a few times before work and it was reading 100.0 - 100.4 I have never been in the hundreds or even the high nineties.
Today at work, my tempt has been hovering around the same. 100.0 - 100.4, but mostly around 100.2. I have a dry cough, sore scratchy throat, sinus headache, I get goose bumps sometimes even though my face is real hot. I'm starting to get a stuffy nose now. I haven't really been hungry all day. I haven't at since at lunch which was 11am and it's 7pm now.
I can't tell when the starting point for an adult is. I know that 104.0 is bad... I guess I have a fever? Ugh... I just feel so nasty.
I am going to work tomorrow no matter what, but if I am feeling the same on Monday. I will take time off work and check in with the doctor.
If it's the flu......I never really had the flu unless it was years and years ago that I don't remember. I rarely get badly sick too.
This is no fun :(
