Yesterday my husband met with a temp agency in a city called Bellevue about 40 minutes from us. The kids and I decided to ride with him and make a day of it. The building was in a large downtown area with little parking and very busy streets. To get into the parking lot you had to go through a parking attendant, they give you a ticket, and they lift the gate to let you pass. Now we decided I would drop my husband off and take the kids to find a park or something to do while he was in the meeting. So at the booth we told the lady I was just dropping him off and would be coming right back out. She looked a little irritated, but didn't say anything and opened the gate to let us through and then let me back out.
About an hour and a half later my husband called me to tell me he was done, so i said I'd come and pick him back up and to meet me in fromt of the building. When I drove up and pulled into the driveway area of the building I saw him waiting on the sidewalk lol, so I had to honk and honk until he saw me. But since it's a crazy downtown area, and he'd just come from the building with the little ticketbooth, I decided to turn around in the parkinglot since I was already in the driveway. So I drove up to the booth and said I needed to turn around. The lady stared at me, wouldnt open the booth window, shook her head no, and then proceeded to keep on reading a book she was reading. She wouldnt let me turn around!!
So I had to back up onto the sidewalk, with someone behind me waiting to get into the parking lot, so they had to back up into the busy downtown city street. All because this lady was obviously having a bad day. It's not like we were random people trying to use the parking lot for a Uturn, my husband had just been doing business there!
It had me so upset because when people are needlessly rude to me it really irks me. BUT, I kept my cool and didnt say anything. Afer that we went to this Pho restaurant to eat. I was still pretty mad about what the lady had made me do. While we were there my husband took a spoonful of his soup, and pulled a REALLY long black hair out of his mouth from the soup LOL.
So they brought him another bowl of soup, and at the end of the meal they told us the meal was free. So that made me feel better lol.
