I moved to a condo in Edmonds in late April. My grandson when throug alot the last 3 months. on May 2nd my son called me cryin that his son was at the hospital and was n't breathing. They flew him to Harborview from Providence Everett. We the staff let us in the ER room there must have been 30 doctors & nurses are him; he had tubes coming from everywhere. The told us he needed emergency surgery on his stomach; he had a tear between his small & large intestine. So we all were at the hospital until 4am the next morning. I go back to the hospital later that day cause his mom wanted to go home to take a shower. While I'm in the room with the nurse she ask how was I feeling and I thought that she was talking about me. She said no, I mean about his broken ribs, he has four broken ribs. I said what and started crying and stated that someone has beat that baby! I then found out that he was placed in State custody that saturday morning at midnight. Later, on Sunday, I had also found out that he had head traum on both sides of his head and a laceerated liver. So, CPS asked if I could supervise the visits for the rest of the family since I'd never taken him along by myself. I said yes, so I had to be at the hospital everyday for 2 weeks from 5-7 pm so that everyone else could visit him. He now has sezuires and the feeding tube will be in him for another 5 weeks. There are pending charges against his dad 'my son' since he was the one around him when all this happened. No one still has confessed and his mom can't live with her mom since she has custody of him. The all had to take lie dector test and u/a test. Since then the grandmother and granddad have been given temp custody of him." Please pray for this little boy...nobody deserves this. Thank you.
