I have a landline, no cell phone. I find them obnoxious for the most part...or maybe thats just the people attached to them, lol. Aside from an emergency which might sway me to get one, anything else can wait until I'm home and the person/situtation can have my attention.  |

We do, because we found it is actually cheaper, in our situation, because we have our direcTV and dsl through our phone company and when we priced it out differently, it was more expensive, but we all have cell phones and normally just use those  |

We all have cell phones here. I did have a landline a year ago for internet purposes. But then the actual phone line died and I had to get high speed. My dad still has a landline, but that's because his cellphone is his work number. When I get married one day lol, we'll probably have a landline because I dunno, a cellphone is something you have for yourself while a landline is something you share. Especially if there are kids who are at a talking on the phone age. Sorry, I just don't see why a child should have a cell phone. I didn't get one until I turned 16 because I started driving. My 2 cents :)  |

We have two land based lines. One for our dial-up, and the other is our home phone. We both have cell phones and use those for long distance calls. Until they make cable available out here where we live, we will continue to have a land line. :(  |

I will probably always have a landline. My daughter, my husband, and myself have cell phones, but the other 5 kids are too little for one lol. A landline is good for local calls to not run up cell minutes, and for younger kids to call friends.  |

We have a landline.. and i cant see getting rid of it.. The way the cell phones work around here, sometimes there is no or poor service.. and if there was an emergency , i would rely on calling 911 from my landline rather my cell.  |
