Just Got Woke Up By Storms~Psyguy

When I went to bed about 11:30, and there were storms out in middle Illinois, just moving into Indiana. Now their marching through south western ohio....

I woke up about 2 am, to thunder. I jolt awake, and I look outside.

Rain is pouring down in buckets, lighting is lighting up the sky, I can hear hail bouncing off my air conditioning unit. The lightning is sky-ground lightning striking something.

The wind is very strong and we almost just lost power.

Bad news is there more strong moves still moving in.

We havent had bad storms at night like this since I was a little kid...

And im surprised at the intensity of these storms, usually we dont have strong storm like these after the sun has gone down. The storms usually feed off the sunlight. And for them to move far East as they did is even more impressive...

Date: 7/22/2008 2:08:00 AM  From Authorid: 53961    Speaking of... I am hearing thunder here as I type... Everytime it happens lately, I think everyone cringes as the damage we have experienced these past mmonths including with the tornado that killed four Boy Scouts nearby. I am in no hurry to repair my mobile home from the hail damge storm we had end of June.
