We heard voices in the night. We slept away the "time of light" and then, we started it all, again. You felt the muscles in my arm. You knew I'd ward you from all harm. You told me I was "heaven sent." You said, "go" and yes, I went. I saw you, when you weren't there. I smelled the summer in your hair. I laid awake. I heard your voice. I was in love.
