~*Somewhere in between*~ *Blue*   Author:  48250  Category:(Poetry) Created:(7/23/2008 9:27:00 AM) This post has been Viewed (52 times) ~Somewhere in between~ Somewhere in between Night dreams & daybreak These mysteries of life When thoughts of You In these many things I ponder Where each of us have been Do you ever wonder how we’re all connected I think about the decisions that we make Enduring the pain---heartaches But then I’m reminded of the joy that Surpasses Like love enduring There’s nothing to equal Caring & compassion Do we become so much stronger For the hardships that we face Like the flowers in the early morning dew Sometimes we need a little rain When it’s darkest just before dawn To appreciate again the sunshine too Friendships grow Love a circle never ending We give ---we receive Lives beautifully blending In perfect harmony Do we consciously Change our lives Hope for the better Of man Each & every day Are we holding back Or with a little faith Do we step out Take that chance Like a child It is in those First steps we take The confidence we gain Then we must make the decision Jump------- even if at first a little afraid Though These chances we take we will never know If just over the horizon blue skies are waiting Until we learn to let go Until we take that leap of faith What lies behind us Do we close the door On those things Have we learned Are we to leave them behind Perhaps it is these which mold & shapes We can only hope tomorrow holds so much more Believing there are better things, sweeter dreams just ahead All that we can be Though his future Man may plan Though God directs ordains His footsteps Still I wonder in each life The choices we are given In the final act we choose Our future is of our own making Are we but actors Performing on some stage Before the call is delivered The curtain lowered Some say They are merely surviving What is the difference In the choices we make Perhaps the answer To these questions are not so hidden When we take our final bow Have we been the directors Afterall At the final curtain call Though God is the ultimate designer Ordained--------- It is written This journey we’re all upon Still, Why is it Some take a road less traveled Down upon the smoothest path While others a dirt road seems a better choice Some may choose what may seem the safest route Though one thing is for sure Friendships are forever Are these two hearts knit together in love I am you--------you are me There is equal balance Within each counterpart It is written down above Somewhere in between The cradle and the grave Why some Dreams are lost While the most important Promises fulfilled With each breath that we take Without pretense We share honesty Commonality so much more A bond without a doubt Perhaps before-------We grow too old We’ll know what this thing called living This joy in giving What love--------- is really all about Copyright © 2008 sal *KyBluebird* *~ For my Best Friend*~ You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click here Scroll all the way down to read replies.
