They'll be in my thoughts and I hope they both come through ok. My eldest, who is now 21 was born at 32 and a half weeks, he weighed in at 4lbs 15oz, he spent a week in the NICU and has never looked back. He's well over 6 feet tall now and weighs in at over 200lbs!  |

Darla, my son was born at 32 weeks but was at 25 weeks in growth, he weighed 1 lb. 3.2 ozs, in the hosp for 7 weeks & came home at 4 lbs. I had toxemia that was in my liver, I was told about 8 years later we were minutes from losing him. He had a hernia operation at 3 months, tubes in his ears at 1 yr & gas in his belly when he was 2 days old... he is 11 yrs old now & plays sports year round.. (his pics are on my myspace) I am praying everything will be fine.. I know they will monitor the toxemia, hopefully it will go away on its own.. my prayers are going up for her & her daughter.. Please keep me updated.  |
