Hello Everybody One of the things I do every day is I go to the Komando.com website to see what the cool site of the day is. Today it is the World Time Engine site. I thought this would be a good site for all of us to book mark as your favorite place. A lot of times we get confused what time our time is we chat on the Pacific coast time. You can open the site up and type in Seattle, Washington or whatever city you want to. I typed in Australia where Zema and a few others are from and it gave the time , second and day A.M or P.M. At this moment here in Alabama it is Friday Afternoon 5:20 P.M. in Australia it is Saturday morning 8:20 A.M. I hope you all will find this site to be useful. Below is the about the World Time Engine site and the site posted below. These days, it is expensive to travel for business. Fares are going up, thanks to the price of fuel and other factors.
That's okay. Thanks to technology, you can meet with business associates virtually. For example, you can use video or telephone conferencing.
There's just one problem. It's easy to get mixed up on the meeting times. That's especially true when your associates are in different time zones.
This happened to me just the other day. I had a meeting scheduled, but the other party called an hour early.
I've vowed never to let this happen again. So, I'm using World Time Engine. It has many tools to help you sort out the time zone confusion.
For example, you can use the meeting planner. Just enter the different city names and a meeting time. Then, click Schedule Meeting.
A handy chart pops up. This makes it easy for you and your attendees to set up the right time for a meeting.
Of course, you may just wonder what time it is in another part of the world. You can find that easily by entering the location!
