For anyone else who thinks they've had a long and stressful week, can you beat mine and make me feel a little better? If not I hope this makes you feel better!
So I started of the week in considerable pain from a shoulder injury that took place on the third of this month. I know my body and I know what's about to happen so I call my doctor for yet another appointment and to see if she'd represcribe some muscle relaxers for me. Yes she can see me on wed, but no to the muscle relaxers.
So monday night I had a severe muscle spasm in my neck that caused me to be unable to close my mouth and required a trip to the er (and I'm still mad about that since it could have been prevented)
I also knew that I had to take my kitten to the vet on wed for his rabies shot and post bite exam as required by animal services for a bite he gave me on my foot the previous week that became infected.
I was driving home from work on tues night/early wed morning in what is a notoriously crime-happy area (it's the quickest way home and with gaas prices being what they are, that is the preffered route) when some word I can't say here threw a brick at my windshield from on top of the railroad bridge. And they had fairly good aim, too. The brick hit about 6 inches below where my head was and scared the life out of me. Thank goodness it had been at a three-way stop and I was going barely 5 mph at the time or it could have been very bad.
So on wed I had to find a ride to the drs office since it's illegal to drive a car with a cracked windshield (incidently the drs office is in the same part of town where the brick was thrown at my car) and at least she consented at that point to give me a new perscription for a muscle relaxer.
But once I got home I had to get my windshield replaced and the people came out and did it on the spot, which I thought was cool. Once it was fixed I went to get my medicine and while driving noticed that my front passenger side break seems to be slipping and made a mental note to ask my stepdad for help with that.
I got home from the pharmacy just fine but after I parked my car started smoking heavily. Great, just what I didn't need. We think the water pump went out on my car but after having it running for less than two minutes it starts to smoke heavily again, so I've had to spend $20 a day for cabs to get to and from work.
I was also not able to get my kitten to the vet since I have no way to get there (my gma can't do it as she's highly allergic to fur and feathers and cabs won't let you transport animals) so I had to call up animal services because if the post bite exam is more than 3 days late you will be fined $500 and the animal will be confiscated so I had to explain what happened and asked for an extension on his exam until monday, and yes I completely forgot that monday is a holiday and I don't think the vets office is open...
And now rents due in two days and i have $2 to my name. I did however find something online that made me feel a little better. At least I didn't loose as much money this week as this movie did, although it was only shown for a week so it could be put on dvd.
