Awww that poor dog, losing his tongue, must be awful. My litte dog play soccer with bigger balls and can't get her little mouth around a lot of toys so we never got her any. A good warning to others Cliff...:) |

Clifford, thanks for posting this. I lost one beloved dog this week, and I don't want to take any chances with the one I have left. I went through her toys and found one of the "pimple balls" you described and, although ours has two holes in it, I still threw it away. It's just not worth taking any risks. I do have to say, though, my little dog, Rosie, is very proprietary with her toys. She was highly incensed when we threw it away. She kept trying to retrieve it. I had to have my husband distract her so I could dispose of it where she couldn't find it...lol. |

I'm glad you posted this, Clifford. Our dogs have several and love them. Now, we're debating if we want to make another hole on the opposite side or just throw them out. We'll probably just look for a safe alternative. |

I love my pets like I love my kids, yet no matter what you try to protect them from their is a million other things that can hurt them! I have to watch my youngest dog with the sticks! She will and does eat everything! Its the boxer in her, yet I get scared to death. I cant even get her doggie toys, she literly eats and swallows them! Thanks for the awareness post though. Yet I have worse things with my dog to worry about then a ball stuck to the tongue...lol |

Oh! Poor poor baby :( Thank you for posting this so other pet owners can know about the danger. Hopefully this "toys" will never be put on shelves again. |
