Still hunkered down on the gulf coast, holding down a day job, moonlighting blue crabs and still peddling my bad swill and trying to pass it off as poetry.....:) ..Anyway: Ginger sent me a message the other day, informing me that a special award has been created for USM's "Poet of the Week." I think that is SUCH a great idea! Yes, I do.:) (Lowers eyes, wringing hands, shuffling feet) Ugh! I must say that I have been a bit "derelict in my duty," so far as letting folk know that they were the recipient of the "Poet of the Week" award. What can I say? Duh!..hehe..:) Soooooooo, since I have a bit of time today, I will be going "retro," all the way back to the very first "Poet of the Week" to distribute these awards into your profiles..:) Hey! I'm scatter-brained, but believe me when I say that all of you have a secure place in my conscious. Thanks to Ginger for giving me a chance to redeem myself and congratulations to all the fine poets, here at USM.:) (Note: Since I can only give one award every seven days, it will take a while. Don't worry about it, though. Live life, have fun, sleep well and one day, "POOF!"
