I have completely LOST it...I am SICK SICK SICK of fast food restruants treating their customers like DIRT!!! We just spent 4 days in Las Vegas with my grandpa and aunt and we wanted to go for an ice cream at DQ and had an AWFUL experience...ever had one of those where your so mad u go home n write a letter to the company?? YEAH!! It's that bad!! Ive worked for DQ for 4 years n we would NEVER treat our customers like this!!! I am throughly DISGUSTED!!
Here's My Letter To the Corp. Office:
"I recently visited this DQ location while visitig some family in Las Vegas. I have personally worked in the food industry for 4 years and what I experienced in this DQ was APPALLING!! We went in excited about getting some blizzards n waffle bowls, but the lady behind the counter seemed dead. No smile, no hello, no sense of customer importance crossed her face at all. She was leaning on the counter, hand under her chin, taking our order. She was rude and had absolutly no enthusiasm in her job. While practically laying on the counter top, keying our order in, she laughed n spoke in rambling spanish to the girl behind the counter who was making our blizzards. While we waited for our order, we watched the same lady grab the top of her pony tail n run her hand down through her hair, then start to rearrange stuff on the counter, without waashing her hands, drink from a open cup sitting next to the ice cream machine, flirt with the security guard and ramble on in spanish while ignoring customers that were forming at the counter. She then set our bag on the counter top and walked to the back room where the two ladies laughed n joked around. Neither were wearing aprons and the lady who served us was wearing no hair restraint at all. I asked if there was a corporate number to call to speak with someone and she turned around, looked at me, looked back at the other employee, then sighed n shook her head no, turned her body n continued to talk to the other employee. I asked for a spoon for the four of us n she proceeded to hand me one, then turn her back again. I asked for a napkin n she didnt even turn her body to face me and pointed to the napkin dispencer that I didnt see. As I walked away, the ladies giggled and the one who served us leaned across the counter and yelled to our table that there were spoons and napkins in the bag. When I looked up to answer her she stood there laughing. She was dressed in what looked like a managers button up grey blouse, but if she was a manager I will NEVER be returning to this DQ again. Her attitude was dull and boring to the customers, but she seemed to have a lot of laughs when it came to joking and speaking in spanish to the other employee. I am totally disgusted and appalled with this behavior and sanitation practices. If I witnessed this lady playing with her hair and touching her face as much as she did during our entire 20 min visit, I can only IMAGINE how contaminated her products being served to customers/public are. Speaking of product, our blizzards were full of vanilla ice cream at the bottom n our waffle bowls were sloppy n doused in hot fudge. We will not be returning to this location on our next visit to Las Vegas. From the bottom of the reciept, the ladies name was "Zee" but I dont know if this is a manager or not. I refuse to call the store and speak with them, in fear they will not care. Never have I had a bad experience at ANY DQ I've ever been to and I'd like to see this situation handled properly and efficiently."
And tonight I went for mexican food, came home n saw literally 2 TBSP of rice in my box. I went back n asked them if theyd personally eat something so stingy and for 7.00$ I was expecting a LOT more. The lady proceeded to TOUCH my tacos with her BARE hands, yell at the cook, he came over n said very rudly "THEY ASKED FOR IT PLAIN!" Though I never did...He was sweeping the floor prior...he took my box, used HIS BARE HANDS n stuck them in the lettuce n gave me a pinch in each taco then sprinkled cheese over my beans, the lady closed the box n gave it back to me saying sorry. I couldnt even say anything. I drove home, came in screaming, called them n yelled at them that they touched my food n expect me to eat it and demanded my money back. The lady was like "well what do u want me to do about it?" Im like HELLO! I want my money back and I want new food!!! She was like "Im sorry, but its one of the other" Im thinking WHAT?! I asked to speak with a manager on duty n she said a manager isnt in till 6am...mom n I drove back (are u counting? 3 trips for this food) went in asked for my money back n the health dept WILL be called tomorrow and I WILL be calling the manager at 6am to ensure some action will be taken....
Uggg I hate fast food places and rude people!!
