I wrote Ouija- don't mess around with the unknown. A few other strange events did happen that led up to the burning of the board. On one of the nights we used it, my brothers friend and I were asking questions and the cat started freaking out. He was upstairs looking out over the balcony. His tail puffed up and he started hissing. Then we noticed a cold chill in the room. I looked up at my brothers friend "J" (the one I was on the board with) and he was staring at me. He had this look on his face that was... I don't even know how to describe it, but it's giving me shivers just thinking about it. I haven't talked about this incident in a long time... His eyes looked glazed over, and he had this strange smile on his face. I told him to stop trying to scare me and ask another question. He just kept smiling at me, but it wasn't a nice smile. It was wrong... I started getting angry and I told him that I'd make him leave if he didn't stop. He stopped smiling, put his finger up to his lips, and said "sssshhhhhhhh". All of our friends that were watching had been laughing at him, but they suddenly stopped. A few of them got up and backed out of the room. I got up, ran to the kitchen, and grabbed a kitchen knife. I came back out and he was yelling obsenities at my brother and his other friends. They just stood there... I held out the kitchen knife and started to pray the Lord's Prayer. I felt like I was acting out some kind of horror flick, and at first felt kinda stupid. But the room was cold and everyone was terrified so I knew that "J" wasn't playing around. So I held the knife tightly and recited the Lord's Prayer, he called me a bitch and gave me this awful look, then a minute or so later he fell on the floor and passed out. We woke him up and told him what happened. He told us that he was just sitting there with me, heard the cat hissing, then he felt really cold. The next thing he knew he felt this tremendous pressure on his body, then he blacked out. After that incident I told my brother to burn it. He didn't burn it, but instead put it out in the garage. A few days later the shower incident happened... To answer that womans question of why it scared my brother (who is in his 20's) so much, he came out of the shower and saw that"T" on the mirror. He knew that was Frank's sign because he was always there during the ouija sessions. I don't know whether this Frank person/thing was the one that scared all of us that night. He had never seemed scary or threatening before, but you just never know. I've heard that spirits often lie, so it's hard to say who the nasty one was. We played with the ouija often for about a month, and in that time had apparently contacted 3 different spirits. The thing is, like I said before, you just never know. Spirits lie, and for all i know we may have been in contact with the same one the entire time. All I know is, I'll never ever touch one of those things again. To all of those people eager to try one, think of it this way. Most happy spirits have gone on to a better place. There are good and bad ones, but the bad ones are eager to talk through a ouija because it's the only way they can cross over to our side. If you allow them access to your mind and body, they can inflict emotional and physical harm on others. What I did was incredibly stupid, and I've learned from my mistake. I was fortunate to get away from the situation unharmed, but others may not be so lucky. It just isn't worth it!!! How it changed my life: I realize there are many things I don't understand. Now that I've told my story, I just want to put it in the past and go on with life.
