uho, don't start trying to show the strange satanic connections. Everyone thinks it's a joke. The media onslaught since the early 90's to try and debunk a satanic system that seems highly organized. Through constant television shows and the like Buffy the vangpire Slayer they have turned it into some hokey and made it more of a myth. I remeber the Franklin Coverup, the Bohemian grove video and how Geraldo Rivera, the newsman had a talk show and started outlineing how big it really is.He was shut up and the media hasn't covered it since. Everyone here tells me that I am so Angry, well wouldn't you be if you had knew that these practices are Way Bigger than people realize. In fact the Epidemic of Child Abductions and Abuse is DIRECTLY RELATED! This is a great post, finally a real post dealing with unsolved mysteries, which has become a 1% thing around here.  |

lol. It'd be a lot funnier if it were a Freudian slip, but I'm constantly talking to people online about medications since I'm on so many, so its just a word I'm wired to type now. |

Of all the conspiracy stuff in circulation, some true, some paranoia, some deliberate misinformation...the meditation room in the UN holds my attention for about..let's see about two seconds. I visited all the links and a few others as well. My favorite statement about it comes from the dedication of the meditation room, namely this: "The Meditation Room is open to the public. It is located to the right of the information desk as one enters the public area of the United Nations." My conclusion is this. I wish that thousands more hours are spent there by world politicians than places like the pentagon and it's counterparts in other nations. |

MOA summed it up perfectly. Seems to be just a public place with a bit of a strange new age design. I mean if you really wanted to conduct satanic practices in an already public building, wouldn't you at least want to locate the "temple" away from the front doors and information desk? As a current Freemason, thus supposedly being in on this global cabal, I can tell you I've never AT ANY LEVEL encountered any sinister motives, although you don't have to be, most Masons I know are Christian. A bit of a tangent but with a point, how many times have the Masons been linked with these global conspiracies? Why? Because we have a weird little club with some symbology the mainstream doesn't understand, and Oh My God ALTERS in our lodges. People who don't know freak out when they hear this, but you know what sits on that alter when lodge is in session? In a Christian nation and open copy of the Holy Bible. You know what would sit on it in an Islamic nation? An open copy of the Quaran. Jewish? One of their Holy texts. Point I'm trying to make? We are an organization that believes that for a man to be a member he must have a faith, but past that we do not tell you what that has to be. Sound familiar? In a country that was founded by Freemasons, you would think more would remember their true history. The US wasn't founded on the Bible, it was founded on the belief that a Mans relationship with his deity should be his own and noone elses. The UN (with even more importance as it encapsulates world culture) was founded on the same pricniples. EVERYONE is entitled to their own faith. What is the best way to allow a varied group of people to practice their faith? A GENERIC room with an alter that can be used if you have a purpose for it, and if not, you don't use it. I don't know a Meditation Room maybe? I'm not trying to be mean or attack anyone, so please don't take this as an attack. I'm just laying down a chain of logic using personal experience, and emphasizing important phrasing. =) Peace  |

Most Satanists are Christians, Headless Horseman, always one of their creeds is to openly practice.. the myth of rituals is overstated or construed to mean blood sacrifice.There are many rituals used unknownly everyday that are satanic in nature. I would agree that this is a strange place to have a ritual but if you believe as Spirit Child and I do, you would see that this could be a place to "House" a demon so commune with the evil one is achieved. |

I offered this post on "Unsolved Mysteries" because I thought we were still about mysteries, ghost stories, and conspiracies. Anyone who has known me, say, longer than a week knows that I have friends that practice the Dark Arts. I am in communication with members of the O.T.O, CoS, Temple of Set, and other Practicing Occultists. I enjoy the mystical & the magickal. And Bruiex is right. There are some fools that take the Dark Arts and pervert them. How is this so different from a former President who felt that "Jesus" guided him in "official" policy? Like it, or not, there are Luciferians & Nilists who believe themselves to be Gods & who use Necromancy to have "spirits" advice them in their daily lives. This was placed in "conspiracy theories" for a reason. Feel free to mock (I can't stop you), but it will stop people who would like to offer opinions on the topic. Frankly, I thought this could be a fun discussion. I guess that will not happen. To people who know, the particular design of this room is designed to attract a certain type of Spirits. A google search could have showed that within a few links. So, yeah, I am disappointed. I do not expect ppl to all see what I (and some others see), but I am NOT exactly the type to see "daemons" in every corner either.  |

Headless Horseman, my Altar is used for one purpose. Religious workings. Yes, I know quite a bit about the Freemasons (Scottish Rite). Both my Grandfather & Great-Grandfather were high ranking members (I still have my Great-Grandpa's ppwk, and his ring). I, myself, by familial ties was offered membership in the Daughters of the Eastern Star (My Grandmother & Mother were members). As a Woman, as you know, I cannot be a Freemason. Even if that is what I wished to do. |

Oh, and for the record? I got this information from a discussion I was having with second-generation Brothers (published Authors) who are Occultists who practice the "Left-Hand" Path. Not some silly kids who dress is black & kill the family cat in the name of Satan. The one Author has been recognized on T.V. all over Europe as an expert in the Occult. So, yeah, that validates the topic for me a bit more. |

I understand very well..This is why banning happens here and makes me upset.I always push the envelope and felt it happening to me. The minute any kind of conspiratorial post happens that brings in religous institutions in it, the place erupts into Politilly Correct "we can't offend anyone" mode. It becomes a attack or a ignore of the person wroting it.That they are offf base or bringing into some childish level. Come on, this stuff has been used (religon) for thousands of years to control the masses of populations, much more effective then politics. In the U.S. our country was fonded on these seperation of Church and State for a reason because Religons had too much Power over Policies that affect the people/ it hasn't changed just now more secretive, that was the "Outflanking of the enemy' approach. I thank you for writing this and am sorry it can't just be a discussion without the ridicule or constant Rationlization that this stuff does not exist.It Does. |

Spirit Child please understand that I understand and respect what you were trying to do. I enjoy conspiracy theories and ghost tales. I sure wish there were more on here any more. I was just trying to present a counter point to the idea. As I said I was not attacking you just wanting to join in. Also, some don't agree with this practice, but in California now a woman can join a lodge. Also in France. I am for this practice. It is an interesting organization with rich ritual and essoteric value. So as a woman I hope one day you could join if you choose, for it is also a dying organization. I was trying to show that the UN having a meditation room with an alter could allow for different religious expressions, yes even the dark arts if a practicing person wanted to use it. I hope that I did not offend you. I was just trying to play counterpoint to the story. Peace |

Not trying to make a fight! Just spirited conversation. There are also still a few people here who can argue and walk away friends I hope! I just wanted to enter an opposing view to the story. If you noticed I always try to end a response with the Peace. This is something I observed Agent Smith do long ago when I was a new USM pup. I always thought this was appropriate.
