Well i've had alot of wierd things that have happened, most of them spiritual. But this one story is probably the most frightening of them all. And it even frightens me writing this up. It was at school when i heard from friends that other friends of mine were meddling around with the black arts, such as calling up spirits the night before, and apparently someone broke the circle which sent those spirits lose and after them. I spoke to those people involved and asked them for the whole story, because i am a big enthusiust of anything to do with spirits. Well most of them didnt want to talk about it, but one of them told me that three spirits were chasing the guy that broke the ring. Well while i was talking to him, there was a big commotion going on at the cafeteria area. And a person that was there said that Jake (the guy that had broke the circle) suddenly went crazy yelling and carrying on at people that no one could see. Then he just bolted of like a scared kitten. I caught up with him later that day and asked what had happened. He told me that he saw those three people, two were male; one was tall and skinny and one was a large lady. He told me that he swore at them and told them to leave him alone, but they kept mocking him, so he took a swing at them and i know this sounds stupid, but he put his fists through that ladies face and teared out her eyes. Then they just laughed at him and he ran off. The first guy i was talking too, although i didnt see it at the time. That little puching bag at the back of his throat(dont know what its called) was pulled by one of the spirits and my other friends saw this, but his throat bit was so long it was sitting on top of his tongue. Okay at this point you probably think that im talking nonsense, and yes that is exactly what i thought they were doing. But the story continues. Getting side tracked for a second. I was raised in a religious family and i consider myself very close to god. I wake up for church every morning and like i said about all these wierd things that have happened to me, i believe it is because im so close to god. For example i have seen my gaurdian angel, and i myself have seen the devil. But thats another story i might tell you people about another day. Back to the story. I have been taught that spirits are wondering souls, sould trapped in purgatory who are seeking for redemption, and the best form of redemption is for someone on earth to pray for there forgiveness. Now telling you that, because i got so close with this whole affair, who do you think the spirits would have turned to for help. Yes me, but i had no idea what was going on at that time. Well it was when i got home from school, that i started experiencing the spooky stuff. First i heard a voice calling my name. I looked outside the window to see if someone was at the back, because usually my brother is at the back doing his exercise. But no one was home. Then as i walked into my room, felt light headed, and the hairs at the back of my head started to raise. I have this gift for feeling the presence of spirits which i have had since i was younger, and i definatelly felt it that day. Then the funny thing is, at that same time, i froze....i couldnt move, and i was standing as well. All i could do is move my eye balls. Now i've had spiritual paralysis before where you are sleeping one night and find you cant move when you wake up, but this was in the afternoon in broad day light. And no matter how close you are to god, and you trust in his protection, something like that would scare the bejeezus out of anyone. So i ran straight to the lounge and huddling up at the furthest corner of the lounge suite closest to the door. I also have to mention, that my mother the main figure head of religion in our family (very religious) was gone on holidays....so i felt sorta unprotected from happenings such as the one i was going through. Well i waited crammed up like a baby, untill my dad and brothers got home and nothing else happened untill that night i went to bed. Well because of what had happened, there was no way in the world i was going to sleep alone that night, so i slept with my dad and i felt more comfort sleeping on my mums side. It wasn't long that i had drifted off to sleep when i suddenly woke up in that paralysed state. I thought to myself, how did i know this was going to happen. Now this has only happened to me a few times before, but i really wanted to test it out to make sure i wasnt dreaming, and this was the perfect oppertunity. When you are in this state all you can move is your eye balls and what i did was scanned the room for unobvious details, such as a sock hanging just on the edge of that table at the corner etc etc....As i was free to move again, i got up and found everything to be where i saw it while i was at that state. That proves to me that i wasnt dreaming. Well during the night it happened again, and this time i was frightened. I tried to scream for my dad, and tryed my hardest to move a part of my body, but honestly you just cant move. "Please leave me alone i said"....(now this is all said in my head, 'cause you cant speak physically). And still i was trapped in my body. Then i decided to relax a little and calmed myself down the best i could. Next thing i was free to move again, and this i sat up noticing that i was drenched with sweat and my heart beating a hundred miles an hour. I was too exausted to think so i sunk back to sleep but i thought, this time i'll sleep on my stomach (i've been told by someone who has had these same experiences that they happen because of the way your body is positioned when you sleep i.e If you have your hands laying on your chest, you look like your sleeping the way a dead guy does, hence spirits hold you down) Anyway, my little plan didnt work, instead it must have got the spirits more annoyed with me. This time i felt a heavy weight fall on my back, i know it had weight cause the bed had rocked when it happened. Then i felt this sensation of static electricy trying to rip through my back. I thought at that time, that the spirit was trying to get in me. I started to swear and carry on again, but i knew there was no point. What i believe was stopping the spirit from entering me, was the brown scapular i wear which protects me from the front and back. I relaxed a little and started to say prayers at the same time use what a lady once told me to do in times of distress..that was to say the lords name three times. And so i did, and everything past. I got up again, but this time i searched for an old cross i used to sleep with when i was younger, which always game me a sense of protection which im sure it did. Well i didnt sleep untill i found it, and it was hidden in the shed outside. Just before i drifted back to sleep, i heard a really evil laugh, and then it disappeared. I ignored that and slept, and nothing happened for the rest of the night. The next day at the church, i decided to pray for these souls and asked god to forgive them for all there wrong doings they had commited during there lives. I said a special prayer for lost souls and souls asking for forgiveness. And every since that day i have never felt there presence again. How it changed my life: I have always been aware of spirits, but what i've never known untill this happened, is that although spirits will spook you all they really want is for someone to pray for them. If you encounter a spirit, i urge you to pray for them. Once they are forgiven then the torments stop.
