Honestly, having a good cross-section of intellect here helps. For every rude, nasty, a generally unpleasent reply, there are just as many, if not more, well thought-out, intelligent responses. It takes all kinds to stimulate a situation. Mind you, I don't advocate idiotic replies, but we have to have them. Think of it this way: Maybe after several years of dumb comments, something MIGHT actually sink in and go to work. After all, who anywhere has ALWAYS been smart?

All I ask is that people have a little compassion and commonsense in their replys, I believe the majority of these stories are true experiences. I agree with K, we have to keep in mind the age range of surfers on this site. You don't have to agree with what others think or do, it's all in the way the we voice our oppinions.
I like to read the responses of skeptics. They put a different perspective on the story. I'm referring to the ones who will ask a question and not just have a juvenile comment. To *ANG*...@ngel. Way to go!

To all of thoughs people thinking that the "bashing, and "vulgarity" is comming from teenagers, I take great offence to that, because i am a teenager, It is just one particular group of teens from one school. And also , To thoughs of you who are doing the bashing, remember, this is someones real life encounter, and you are not the one to judge it, yes everything in life calles for a little bit of constructive critisism, but keep it to that. And remember what you where always told " If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"._J |

i agree with the others, the age group here is something EVERYONE need to take to heart. maybe some of these people who ost their stories on here just needed to get it off their chest. i read a story by a 9 y/o girl that was a cry for someones help to find her little sister, most of the comments to her were talking about how badhe spelling and grammer were. for Gods sake have a heart. some people who write stories on here write because they are hurting. try to put yourself in their shoes... how would you feel? for all the immature people out there who get a kick from bashing other people, watch out you could getbashed your self. not nessisarly here anywhere. alot of the spelling problems people have are due to how fast they type and weather or not the computer picks it up.so get a life of your own and stop hurtin others!!! Hey! Im a teen! I dont bad-mouth people I just tell the truth in a nice way. I usually give good comments but once in a while when I read a story that doesnt look like its been worked on hard enough and I tell them the truth in a kind way. If i see other commentors bad-mouthing it I tell them to back off or leave them alone. I hope you know what you said is a stereotype and I am tired of adults saying all teens are alike.
