Another happening from my past. While I was enlisted in the Air Force, I lived in a base dormitory. An older building, it was scheduled for destruction in 1997. I mustered out in '96, and some stories filtered back to me about my old room. My background first: I'm a bit of a seeker of trouble, tangible and not so tangible. I've been mixed up with ghosts, spirits, and various other occurences my whole life. While enlisted, I took the chance of attempting a summoning. Myself and two others did this on Halloween night 1995. Nothing happened, so we dropped it. Well, it apparently did work. A fellow transferred in to the base shortly after I left, and was given my old room. The next morning the poor man demanded to be put in another room. When asked why, he told various people that in the middle of the night, he woke up feeling like he was being watched from a corner. He waited for the feeling to pass, but it only got stronger. As he had more brains than most, he left the room and slept in the day-room. This happened with several new troops, and the room was finally converted to storage. Not that it helped much. According to my one friend left there, the room was constantly being re-arranged while no one was in it. Sounds like furniture being moved, and bass from a stereo system were also heard, again with no one there. When I was there, I had the habits of moving my furniture and playing music at all times of the day and night. Either I imprinted my actions in the room(heavens knows I had enough emotion to), or something lived there with me, and got lonely when I left. I never recieved any feelings of watching or interst while there, so I assume I'm desensitized to it.The dorm was torn down in late '97, and no mention of anything has filtered back to me. How it changed my life:Not so much a change, but an interest in why I didn't notice anything. Also, pity for the poor guys who tried to sleep there. ;)
