You have to show an ID when you want to buy booze, cigarettes, use your credit card so why not to vote? In this day and age who doesn't have some form of ID?  |

Yes, you should have to show ID and prove your identity to vote. Personally I think you should also show a W-2 form showing you are a tax payer prior to being allowed to vote.  |

My friend Matt Schultz is running for Secretary of State for Iowa and that is his main platform - that photo IDs be required to vote! I so support him! |

Yes. I don't see why you should be allowed to vote if you're in the country illegally. In AZ, you don't need proof, which I hate. Things are even printed in both English, with Spanish on the other side. I think I learn more Spanish during the elections, than I ever did in collage.  |
