Bigfoot on the river   Author:  870  Category:(Mysterious) Created:(10/6/1999 4:41:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1280 times) I was 17 when this happened, the events that follow took place in the hills outside a small town in California, Sometime during the summer of 92' around 9:30pm my friends, Robby age 17 ,Ryan 17, Ted 18, Rudy 21, Diana 16 (Robby's sister) and her friend Denise 16 and I decided to go up to a this spot on the river which was about a half-hours drive away. We arrived and begun are hike down to the river which took about 15 min. we got down to our spot, keep in mind that this a place that most of us had been many times before only this was the first time at night. We were just hanging out drinking a few beers and talking about things that most teenagers talk about, we were there for about an hour anyway we were about twenty feet from the edge of the water when we heard this noise like "sploosh" which sounded like it was maybe 75 yards or so up river then the sound came again "sploosh" it sounded like someone walking in one or two feet of water a big someone walking in a foot or two of water and it was coming are way. We were all just frozen the noise kept coming until it got right out in front of us. Now it was dark and there was little or no moon that night but it came almost right up to the edge of the embankment by this time we could see the white in the water with every splash it was too dark to make out any details but the silhouette was about 7 or 8 feet tall and was definitely walking on two feet anyway. It must have seen or smelled us because it turned crossed the river and went smashing through the woods on the other side of the river we could hear it smashing branches like it was tearing a path through the woods anyway I don't know what it was for sure but we got out of there fast and headed for home. For most the of the ride home we talked about it and all of us agreed that what we saw had to be a Bigfoot The next day we went back there and crossed the river but because it was too brushy we were unable to get any plaster footprint molds, but what ever it was there was a nice sized path where it went through. I know that you might not believe me but I know for a fact that it was a Bigfoot. If anyone knows of any other cool websites like this one or dealing with the unknown please reply. How it changed my life: I dont know how this changed my life but since I was like 14 I have had many unexplainable encounters which I will write about at a later time.
