Okay... this is a true story that takes place at my house. I live in a neighborhood that is full of gangs, grafitti, old houses, and many weird people. One night in November, 4 days after my birthday, a strange thing happened that scared me to hell. The time was approximately 11PM, right before I was watching MAD TV. Right before the beginning of the show, all my lights went out in the house. I thought there must be many possibility of this power outage but there was only one. Well, the things that I thought happened was maybe the neighborhood blew a fuse, maybe just my house, or maybe it was the whole city. I had a portable television that ran on battery. This is where the strangest thing happened... the television wouldn't work. I mean I recharged the batteries earlier (they are rechargeable and all) and it wouldn't work. I was like this is really weird and tried to get out of the house first. So, I ran to the front door and tried to open it. But, it was jammed and wouldn't open. I couldn't jump out of windows because they had metal protection on them to keep out burglars. I got really freaked and ran for my room. My room is at the end of the hall and my mother put a mirror there which I don't know why. I always got scared of this mirror for it seemed like someone was looking at me. It ran chills down my spine. I walked through the hall with my head down (so I wouldn't see the mirror). A few feet away from the mirror, some force made me lift my head up and face directly at it. Then, instead of my own reflection, I saw a ghost that seemed a little fuzzy. Couldn't recognize it earlier but seemed very familiar. Then it hit me, it was that girl that lived here with her parents before me. There were pictures of her all in the livingroom when my family moved in. She was an innocent girl that got in the middle of gang crossfires and was killed instantly. She scared me and I tried to look away but couldn't. So little but a bullet hole on her forehead. She started bleeding from the hole and started to scream for her mouth was opened. No noise came out of her. I tried to scream too but my throat was too dry. She stopped screaming and the bleading stopped also. She then put her hands on her head. You know what happened next? She seemingly pulled off her head from her neck. Now, I was really frightened and suddenly I was able to scream. I screamed the loudest I can and then she slowly disappeared. The picture of her burned into my eyes and it seemed like I can still see her. All of a sudden, the lights came back on and so did the televisions. I went back to the livingroom dazed and frightened of this experience. I stayed there till my parents came back. I told them the story but they wouldn't believe. I even had to go to the psycharicist for this. Nobody would believe me but only I know it. Would you believe me? How it changed my life:My life is still the same. But we did get rid of that mirror and nothing like that every happened again.
