We rented the tape just to see the ghost boy. It actually scared me. I read somewhere that it is actually supposed to be a cardboard cut-out of Ted Danson in top-hat and tails. Well, I don't believe that one. It looks nothing like a grown man in a top-hat and tails. I believe that it is a ghost boy.-K. |

Where is that scene. I watched the movie and I couldn't see any ghost. All I saw was a cardboard boy in Ted Dansen's room in front of the window. I hope that wasn't supposed to be the ghost because if it was I will be very dissapointed. |

Do your reading, there are TONS of sites on the Internet that talk about the "Ghost boy" in this movie, it is claimed to be a cardboard cutout of Ted Danison. I have seen the movie and it creeps me out. |

The movie was filmed on a set in L.A. so the supposed "Ghost Boy" to haunt it is not true. Also its just a cardboard cutout of Ted Danson, is you really look you can see it. |

Just the other day one of my friends told the rest of us about that part in the movie. We all rented it and watched that spot, it scared us all!!! We all screamed, and i don't believe it's just a cardboard cutout cause it looks nothing like ted danson, and it's a boy, not a man!!! |

It is quite clearly a sized-down cardboard cutout of the actor playing Jack, from a TV advert he was in when he was younger. the cutout was put there as a prank by a member of the crew. You get to see the cardboard cutout at 2 other points during the film and you can easily see that that is what is standing by the window |

uhm, ok man. that scene wasnt even shot on location, it was shot on a sound stage. the 'boy' is a cardboard cutout of a young ted danson. you can even see that hes holding a baseball bat if you look hard enough. although, it is rather creepy seeing it in the movie and knowing that a kid died in the apartment that they shot much of the film in. i believe in ghosts, but in this case its not a ghost. get over it. |

Okay....whether or not the boy is a cardboard cutout or not isn't known....BUT, explain to me this, why is the boy there when they walk by, and then when they walk back by a few seconds later, why isn't he there anymore??? it IS real, so accept it. |

Ok...when I was little, I totally believed in the "ghost boy". It freaked me out too. However, after reading through all the other responses, the young cardboard cut out theory makes sense. Lets be realistic...Tv's do not display images of cardboards by magic. The story is a little too unbelievable. Call Robert Stack himself...maybe he can help you. |

Wow, that is scary. I had a simialr experiance with the same movie!!! There was a small boy in a doorway during the movie. I had an infant child at the time when i watched the movie. my child is now about 12 years old. He looks exactly the same as the boy in the movie! |

I just watched the movie again tonight to take a good look at the "cardboard" cutout of the boy. If you look closely, you can see that it is NOT the same cardboard cutout that is shown earlier in the movie. The cardboard cutout of Ted Danson has white pants and the boy has black pants. How can they be the same? |

Interesting...a similar thing happened to my husband and me when we watched Three Men and a Baby with some friends. We rewound the part with the ghost a couple of times, but then after that the tape began stopping, rewinding and replaying the ghost scene by itself...over and over. We placed the remote on the floor in front of us to make sure no one was messing with it. It continued happening. What explanation could there possibly be for the VCR to do three seperate commands like that on its own? Stopping, rewinding and playing. |

How do you explain the shotgun that hangs in the window as they first pan across that window? It is probably likely that someone doctored the tape, but I do not believe that the image is a cardboard cutout. |

That's terrible you guys, the movie was filmed on a set (as most movies are) and they used an actual apartment complex only for showing it from the outside. No boy wandered on the set, and it was cardboard cut-out that was used since Ted's character plays an actor in the movie. The film-makers just moved it around so that it wouldn't be in the way, but it actually ended up in a couple scenes. It's nothing. No ghost here, check somewhere else. Also, about the eyes following, things that are staring straight forward, such as statues as well, always look like they are following something. The same illusion is used in Disney World. |

The "ghost boy" in Three Men And A Baby was a cardboard cut out of Ted Danson that was left out by mistake. It shows up in another scene where it is standing right behind him. The story was supposedly that a little boy who lived in the apartment that the film was supposedly shot in committed suicide and that the boy in the window is his ghost. The movie was actually filmed on a Hollywood sound stage as are most movies. The whole thing was just a hoax. You can clearly see that this thing in the window is not a real boy or even a ghost for that matter. |
