...1984 is here today and 1985 only promises to be worse

Good evening my fellow cattle!

I was reading a news blurb a little earlier about this young girl in a North Carolina

pre-kindergarten class that brought her home made lunch to school.

Luckily for her, a state appointed "lunchbox inspector" was on the scene

and deemed her lunch of turkey and cheese sandwich, banana, apple juice and chips

to be unhealthy and provided her with a cafeteria tray of chicken nuggets instead,

the cost of said glorious nuggets being charged to the parent.

Aren't you all so glad that there is someone out there to protect us from ourselves?

Here is the link to the original story so you can read for yourselves before I continue with my rant:

http://myfox8.com/2012/02/14/nc-preschooler-fed-nuggets-because-packed-lunch-wasnt-healthy/

OKAY THEN

If  you never picked up a copy of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four and read it through, you should

because it's here, it's now and it gets worse by the day. I could go on for hours about the way government

has overstepped it's boundaries in an increased program to control every aspect of your lives.

Link to Wiki Nineteen Eighty-Four :  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nineteen_Eighty-Four

Do I sound alarmist? I hope so.

Don't you hate the way North Koreans are kept in poverty, fed propaganda and taught to deify their leader?

What do you think your country has planned for you? That's right, the same thing.

They're just damning North Korean policies while they do the same to you.

WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

Date: 2/15/2012 6:27:00 AM  From Authorid: 64819    IF you make lunch for you kid at the school my son goes to, you can't pack them a lunch that has peanut butter in it. Because it has been confirmed that at least one student has a peanut allergy, so no nuts for the entire school, but yet reese's peanut butter cups are okay. Really???? I say this because he got 2 of them yesterday from the Valemtine's party his class had.
Date: 2/15/2012 6:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 4995    This is one of the better posts you have made although i find your others ones charming and hilarious. What a stinker to charge the parents and feed the kid nuggets when she had a perfectly good sandwich to eat. What a joke..G.

Date: 2/15/2012 7:10:00 AM  From Authorid: 26803    You are incorrect sir. Deep fried fat filled chicken nuggets are MUCH better for you than turkey/cheese, etc... what world are you living in?

...Lil Wolf...as a smoker myself, I regret ever having taken up the habit but I still believe that it is a personal choice.
The revenue generated for the government by way of taxation and the contributions made by BIG TOBACCO towards political campaigns,
bribes and the hush money for victims of their product more than outweighs a total ban on the evil weed.

What does your government spend these tax dollars on? Health care? No, try again. Social Security? Laughable.

...peanut butter sammiches were a staple for schoolkids when I was growing up Adora. We never had the peanut allergies or at least, never heard about them.

You were in more danger of getting hit with a snowball containing frozen dog poop than you were of having a reaction to anything else.

Sort of makes you wonder if these allergies and viruses aren't engineered.

Date: 2/15/2012 7:33:00 AM  From Authorid: 5940    Was it Tofu Turkey from Dr. Fu Manchu???????

Seriously, I have read that book and it's pretty right on... ever seen that movie "Brazil" by Terry Gilliam?

...CP...I read stories like that and I get angry.
I'm tired of being told what is right and what is wrong by some rich (expletive) that has never been close to the reality most of us face.

...Coenlaf...I must apologise for my lack of research.
After being repeatedly tased by the food police, I have come to my senses.
Even as we speak, I am enjoying a hearty meal of lard and sawdust.

Now, you'd better get back to your cubicle before they realise you've escaped.

Date: 2/15/2012 7:58:00 AM  From Authorid: 15228    Actually, Hekler, the taxes from cigarette sales are spent on children healthcare programs. I consider it an act of charity to continue smoking.
Date: 2/15/2012 7:58:00 AM  From Authorid: 62602    is this about lunch or something more?. i agree the government needs to to stop telling us what to do [govern-controlle ment-mind]. they are nothing but humans to, and they need to accept that. we are all diffrent, and we all are not alike no matter how much the "hive-mind", or sheeple believe we are. like the plants', animals, and other species we are all growing, and learning together wheather they like it or not.thats my opinion.

...Kelly...I wasn't aware of that but I'm also a bit leery of believing what the politicians want me to believe.

I'd better find a cave to hide in before I have my "accident".

Date: 2/15/2012 8:16:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5301
...Anime...it's about a lot more than a simple interference with a child's lunch.
It's about the drones that have been approved to fly in U.S. airspace to spy on you.
How long before those unarmed drones become weaponized?

It's about Homeland Security deputizing the man-on-the-street to become an informant on his neighbour.

It's about that camera watching you right now.

Date: 2/15/2012 8:41:00 AM  From Authorid: 33286    the article said that they were supposed to "supliment" missing nutrition in home packed lunches, I wonder what missing nutrition they suplimented by feeding the child processed chicken nuggets, eye balls and butt holes? because that is what goes into processed chicken nuggets... or maybe it was the missing hydrogenated oil they were deep fried in... hmmm.

I would have ripped them a new one.

Date: 2/15/2012 8:45:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5301
...the butthole part of the chicken nugget is the happy part of a Happy Meal.
Who wouldn't be happy eating a bovine's anus?

Date: 2/15/2012 9:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 62993    Remember that pizza is a vegetable now.
Date: 2/15/2012 9:49:00 AM  From Authorid: 53284    I certainly know that I would have made quite a fuss about this. I'd demand to see the credentials of the inspector. Then I'd demand to see the nutritional breakdown analysis of the lunch that I provided vs the school lunch. I'd demand a point by point comparison. My memory of school lunches is that they were largely not edible.

...yep Hack...all delicious and made from Mother Nature's finest ingredients.
Mother Nature must be running a meth lab these days.

Date: 2/15/2012 10:02:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5301
...funny you mention that SoSweetSofia...a follow-up on the lunch determined that the only food group not present in the little girl's lunch was a vegetable offering and ordinarily wouldn't have been a problem.

The mother did not pack a vegetable as the girl was a picky eater and would not have eaten it anyway.
Vegetables are supposedly served at home so the consumption could be supervised.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Pizza...health food!

...Wild Bob...yeah...it's time for people to start raising a stink and to stop getting stepped on and being stripped of whatever rights they had come to believe were theirs from the moment of their birth.

I just read a story about a half an hour ago about a woman that was "randomly selected" to go through an airport scanner.
Attractive with a shapely body, she had to go through the thing THREE times because the TSA males operating the unit kept getting a "blurry" picture. A female TSA agent finally put an end to that.

Date: 2/15/2012 11:13:00 AM  From Authorid: 15228    We all know this is dumb, that this is ridiculous. Yet, food stamp recipients can buy all the junk food they want on the taxpayer dime. God forbid you try to feed your own child.
Date: 2/15/2012 11:28:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5301
...I agree Kelly. The food stamps should not be accepted at liquor stores, fast food outlets and corner drug dealers but if the rules were changed, there will always be a way to get around them.

Don't get too upset. Have a Twinkie and a Coke. You'll feel better.

Date: 2/15/2012 11:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 11097    HEY... I was born in 1984, that's a glorious year
But really, I must agree... I have read bits and pieces of '1984' and I love the book, 'A Brave New World' kinda along the same lines.

Garbage said it best, I totally agree. NWO... or something along the same lines. Have you ever heard of the comedian Bill Hicks, if not, look him up and watch some videos... type in 'Go Back To Sleep America'... now that was an amazing man.

Date: 2/15/2012 6:46:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 5301
...thanks for the tip Zelana!
I'll check out this Bill Hicks.
I love to laugh at the truth.
