I have been reading a lot of stories on here claiming what I have in a few of my past stories. People putting down or degrading others stories who legitimately pour their hearts out with their real experiences. I have always welcomed replys from any and all people, including the teenagers. All I asked is that the replys come in a costructive manner. This site is dedicated to people who believe in the supernatural, those who are students to the mysterious, or those who are genuinely afraid from an experience they have had. Remembe, everyone does have the right to respond, but they do not have to degrade or belittle anyone. If you do not agree with someones story, you do not have to go into great details and put it down, just say you dont believe it and leave room for people who want to post intelligent comments. As we all know, we are going to keep getting these comments from whoever they come from, we have no way to really stop them, but we can band together as intelligent adults, and go on about our business. Yes the constitution gives freedom of speech, but back when it was written, there was not a lot of what happens today in their time. Some "clauses" should have been inserted for the immature or the people who waste our time by allowing themselves to speak from an unthinkable point of view. I enjoy this site for it's value to me as a supernatural enthusiast. I enjoy reading the stories. Some I believe, some I dont, but I keep that to myself usually. I respect people who have the nerve to come on this site which is seen by millions worldwide, and share their experiences. I would never degrade a story by which someone wholeheartedly believes is true. That is why they come here, to share their experience. Let us try to be fair, even to those who we know is immature, and give them a chance to reply, but let us all remember to, not all of us on here are able to keep up with the intellectuals. Not all of us are able to constructively criticize stories. Not all of us should be able to come to this site. But all of us should have the right to post our stories and beliefs without having to put up with people who have nothing better to do than to fulfill their own egos by making others feel inferior. The fact of the matter is, we as intelligent story posters know who and how legitimate our replyers are. You can tell when you read a reply if they are legit or not. Keep writing, and totally ignore those who waste your time with ignorant comments. If you stop writing because of those who degrade your story, they will win. They have gotten the best of you. The best way to make someone angry is not to pay any attention to them. Ignore them. It works. But there are some cases where you have to address the situation and make a point. Writing is an outlet for a lot of the people on this site, so let them write, and if you reply, make your point and let that be that. Writers are hard to come by, especially ones who put forth the effort that I have seen on this site. Let them write. Reply with intelligence, or leave them alone.
